I use the crescendo cz. I would recommend them as I feel they are a pretty good set of comps at that price point.

Double check all your connections at the amp and box. Inside box as well. While your in there check the coil resistances (independently). Swap rca cables if possible. If the problem persists try a different amp. If it works normally it's the amp and if it does the same thing it's the sub.

So far the polar vortex has only reached as far west as Colorado. So here in the land of "greatest snow on earth" we've had only a trace of snow. All the ski resorts are open by making their own snow.

I'd be OK with it until 80K. Nissan is really doing some weird shit lately. We see quite a few (my shop used to specialize in Z cars, and we are still thought of as a Nissan shop). Once shit starts breaking you need to get out from under it ASAP. The 3L and variants of it (the 3.5l is in the Infinity IIRC) are great engines, it's all the bullshit around it that sucks. You will likely have to do a high pressure power steering hose in it, and fuck that hose. I don't care if you like to tinker, let a professional deal with it. It is a complete motherpucker. It is also highly likely that you will come across a MIL on with an ionization code. Don't be alarmed when the shop tells you that you need all 6 coils... you really do. Outside of those 2 little gems, you should be fine for the first 100K.I know Nissan has a big tsb on that code, along with repeating that premium gas is ABSOLUTLY necessary. I haven't come across it on any of the truck setups. It was always the late 90 ~ early 2000 maximas.

Yep,the first thing I welded was 30 gauge steel right before this, so my pace/heat was low since I kept on blowing through it lol.I was thinking spacing too far away and wire speed a touch too high.

Tool is meant to be a band that contends with topics deeply intellectual or from an intellectual perspective for the most part. APC is similar but deals with things from a more emotional rather then intellectual perspective. Pusifer was simply an artistic outlet for MJK that he couldn't pursue with either of the other bands. It's mostly meant to be more tongue in cheek type of entertainment. There are some serious songs, but a lot of them are qwerky, comprised of sexual innuendos or serious subjects tackled from a very non-serious perspective. For those that don't know, MJK also likes to perform stand-up comedy...Pusifer is his outlet for "that side" of his musical artisanship. One of my favorite songs is Humbling River from Pusifer...it's one of the more serious songs but wouldn't have fit the Tool/APC genre. I'm a HUGE MJK a fan. IMO he's one of the best, unique and most interesting musical minds the world has known. Admittedly not all of his projects are going to be everyone's cup of tea...but I think it's easier to "get" if you understand what he's going for in each individual project. He wasn't looking to rival Tool with Pusifer....two completely different outlets serving two completely different purposes for him artistically. They weren't meant to be similar to even in the same genre. Same with APC. What he said...

I am completely offended... All 3 of those bands are a different side of Maynard's personality, and all 3 ABSOLUTLY unique. The guy is a creative genius. I am about an 8-9 hr drive from Jerome, AZ. That is one of my planned trips for next summer vacation
