If I felt the DSP did not color the setup, or if I had so much overhead I can overcome the deficit I think I would rather use a DSP even if it cost quite a bit more. Being able to tune on the fly is amazing. Maybe less as time goes on and the auto systems get better and better it won't matter. But after I get things to flat, I spend dozens of hours nudging things anyway.

Its amazing what can happen durring a conversation. My wife got her management job after a trial interior a different position. That one got filled and she ended up making $10k more than she expected. Networking is everything. Assume there is $20K wiggle room, minimum, or a company who falls in love with you to make it worth your time.

Thats damn cool. I would be endlessly fascinated. When I debate a lot of my friends we end up sending white papers back and forth and I piss them off because I don't have any student access so I won't let them use their paid library if it's not found in public posting. :-D

Hell yeah. Its called blindsight. People with some brain injury but react to visual stimu. Wild stuff. Way more documentation that I guessed and I'm too tired to read it all. It's pretty awesome just how social we are. I bet it sees snakes and heights first via that process as well. :-D

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

I absolutely walked away from conventional religion for a hell of a long time too. But it turns out its just plain interesting and beautiful. I've personally been so lucky to live almost all my childhood and young adulthood participating in other cultures families down to how the family unit lives with its dominant faith. I got to have an Eastern European and Scandinavian look into Western Catholicism in my closest family. Then it went directly into what is sometimes called Chinese folk religion, and other South East Asian religions. Finally followed by a tie between Southern Christian pacifism based practices and east African/Middle East Islam and "African Folk" religion. I knew African folklore before I read Greek history in facts. I took for granted all of that thinking that something else was more interesting. Humans integrate their behavior so deeply it becomes faith. Not the other way around. Nothings cooler than the way it all blends into and from the same story. It makes sense. I was reading something recently about how the uncanny Valley is evolutionary... thats really fucked up because it means we were able to see things that looked ALMOST exactly like us. We worked together and could tell homo sapien from not homl sapien really really well. We are so socialized that in our eye, we have facial recognition physically connected earlier in our brain than the rest of vision. Some people who have a TBI have involuntary facial responses to human facial expressions even though they are completely blind. Their brain gets a signal and causes facial responses so primaly that it not only happens without your control it happens when you have zero vision and you don't even know your face responds. I'll see if I can find that video but it's insane. We are all going to have the same beautiful base principles in our stories from any culture that lasts because it's the only possible outcome because it is our biggest play genetically and/or because of the holy spigot.

To be fair, the Bible via catholicism(Rome not Eastern Orthodox), then the Torah and Koran, and before that the scrolls with the book of Epoch..... before that.... Norse Poetry and "Die with your eyes open".... the first stories we are pretty sure are still the same ala Bhagavad Gita. Spoken word before that.

Sure. On the same coin every charity event I've been to they have been there in support even when they disagree. Things they are a changing. Christians that I know seem to be remembering when Jacob spent a night on a mountain and earned a broken hip and the name Israel "he who contends with God". They seem to be the most accepting and willing to be flexible group i bump into. They know its genocide in other countries to have a cross now and that really hit the US Catholics and Christians hard. Maybe its comeuppance but someone has to stop the cycle and that is their whole philosophy boiled down.

Its good times. I didn't Ike team sports because I never had a team that tried. So I got into sports that were me vs me. Martial arts I never really saw as me vs someone. Same as wrestling. Its more like a video game where I'm just working the math and leverage to deal with the input I'm getting. If I get my ass whooped i care less about the actual outcome, just that I don't fall for the same thing and that I improve. Bad teammates ruined me young. Lol

You know about this too Jared, over time, adrenaline and its ability to completely nullify pain in some cases can result in some bad choices. Because of my pain disorder I had to learn the difference between normal pain thats toughened tissue and when I've moved into tissue damage. My shins for example are super sensitive... but thats because I bashed the crap out of them trying to make them tougher. Thin line between getting as tough as you can and causing trauma. Lol

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Its not you, its me. Lol What I'm saying is Chris does dumb shit like having his buddies take off weight while he is squatting. Real bad idea and shouldn't be sold as a drop set. I see that and I'm pretty much done with someone. I'm sure I could learn something from him but the high risk of joint damage that most of his motions produce will destroy shit over time. Because I don't have connective tissue like everyone else I have to chose the maximum impact on my health with the minimum wear and tear. If I wasn't me I would probably be in some unregistered MMA club playing who's shin snaps first. I completely respect that every type of moving your body is valid the same way I think plastic surgery or tattoos deserves respect. Telling other people that the thing your doing is a good idea for them when it's based on preference instead of informing is frustrating however. I digress, because the truth is you're looking amazing and if you feel good the who cares.

Chris unfortunately hasn't come close to proper form or technique as far as I can tell. Gymnastics/martial arts/calisthenics/dance/pilates/yoga/tai chi..... all the same. Do what works for your body. Almost no difference in the net result for core. Intensity is the only thing that matters for your goals in the type of exercises you're doing. 20 min os skiing or snowboarding will do more for your core than 2 hours of Chris's workout. The misconceptions on how the body works is staggering but understandable. Lots of voodoo combining with really bad statistical "science". I cannot stress this enough. Every single study that isn't a meta study is going to show that the bro science is wrong. It's like sports though. Even if they are more injury prone and not as good at helping you be healthy or as good at making you look good naked sports and flashy movements feel good and help use achieve huge ego boosts. Feats of strength often result in so much mental health because we have so much self esteem baggage walking around as a normal living organism that the serotonin, dopamine, and perhaps esteem of people we care about that its worth any and all risk.

Lifting is the only reason I can move and still put food down. If I couldn't stimulate hormones via lifting I would be in serious trouble. Its just the safest and most efficient means to the end goal of a long functional life. If I decide to pick up another goal like martial arts, running, biking, or anything else like walking without puking like now I keep the intensity of the lifting pegged most of the time. I will only modulate the total amount of work and/or time under tension. Thats the usual way at least.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

If he gets you to move, that's what matters. No injury then you're good. I know you just think he is kinda hot. My whole life I've had to maximize every single vector of health just to maintain a stable body so I'm really critical of people who stray from the most effective rout and call it anything other than their preferred way of doing things. I'm a cripple. No time for fun. Just the fastest way to results. Lol
