Second Skin Promotion - 10 free Door Packs

Is this old? 1. Post your SSA user name Thumper 2. State that you qualify to the terms and agree to follow through with them as they are written above. I agree to the terms as stated 3. Post a description of your car and system 8 AA Havoc 15's walled 4. Post how you plan on helping promote Second Skin including the other web site you will post your build log in. (Rembmer build logs and videos are always better for us) I have many ways to help, such as using my handheld vibration meters for starters in comparison with other products. 5. You must tell us something about yourself that nobody on this forum knows about you I'm one of Colorados loudest!!

Warden Series Release - May 1st

what do you mean by The blowthrough hole sealed off from the back? The little gaps betwwen the box and around the hole into the cab. Seal that with foam, so you dont get backwards waves going into the bed of the truck. see the foam?

Warden Series Release - May 1st

is your blowthrough hole sealed off from the back? Did you sweep it to see where you peak in cab? To measure your coils unplug them from the amp and plug a DMM set to ohms into the leads and check to make sure you get the correct reading DCR. I have a blow-through as well and they are notorious for not hitting big numbers until you tune to the 55~60hz region. Being loud on the mic and loud on the meter are 2 totalyy different things.

    Strapping 2 40.1's?

You could also do 1.33 with the 6-d1s which is .66 per amp & you should be fine. Really? Is that in series or parallel? I think I tried every which way possible. series, series/parallel, parallel.. Care to elborate?

    Strapping 2 40.1's?

I have 2 40.1's and I intend on strapping them since I will be running 6 15's. Now I did some math and I was only able to come up with this for 6 15's, series 6-D1 coils= .5ohm 6-D2 coils= .7ohm parallel 6-D1 coils= .125 6-D2 coils= .167 Someone please correct it if I'm wrong but I dont think I can strap the amps up in either formation.

    Box for Fi Q15

I'm running 6 Fi Q 15's in a 6th order bandpass and I have the best of both worlds.. Low and loud. Saying you cant have it low and loud is a condesending pretext. Bass Raced a 155.9 at 35hz also did a 152 at 29hz with driver door open and mic in the kick just playing around. As everyone knows a meter doesn't necassarily incorprate how "loud" your setup is i.e.; pressure is felt not heard. I know guys that can burp a 160 at 53-62hz but it sounds nothing impressive when playing music. You could also try running the specs through a setup for a 4th order as the lower you go the woofer will rely on the box for its suspension below 25hz.
