alright so 3.5 cu/ft tuned to what hz?

not sure, I got a part of the batch that was logoless and shortly after SI got robbed of all of them( AGAIN yes I paid, ask Nick) Hows 2.75 cu/ft after displacement ported to 34 HZ sound ? Who here can design me a box :-) ill pay

Ive had my 15" in a 4 cu/ft box ported to 28hz My friend has his XXX in a 3 cu/ft box to 34 hz I like his cuz it hits the lows nicely without distorting. My prob with the 28 hz at 4 cu.ft was some songs sounded horrible. What box would sound the best and get the lowest for rap music?

link doesnt work I had my mag at 4 cu @ 28hz and it only sounded good on certain songs. I mostly listen to rap... hows 3.5 cu/ft @ 32 hz sound?

I have an audio meet to attend to this weekend on saturday so my question is 1) If I play the sub, will it do any damage to my amp with 1 coil blown 2) Is there any way I can do a very TEMP repair on it before I bring it in for a recone? ( Im talking very temp...slilicone on the tear type of deal) If I do this, will Nick still recone it. I just dont have the $150+ at the moment for a cone nor the time 3) Does the tear and everything get fixed when i send in for a recone?

if you look in the first pic, you can see just how big the rip is in the "spyder?" (not sure what that is called the tensel lead in woven into) This is the set that is coming in at crazy ohms....not sure if the rip had to do anything with it

As I mentioned a few threads down, my sub sounded like it was blown or there was a really bad air leak. One of the coils comes in at 2 ohms and the other is at 17-32 ohms. Look at the pics below of this coil, has this ever happened before????? The lead that was intersown came loose and where it was sown in, there is now a rip This is me pushing down to try to show just how bad the rip is. What exactly happened here?

Let me know when you have these made....I need a better sticker for my sub. The viynal I had for the logo on my sub sux...You will see when it comes nick lol

Hmm my current box is at 2.5 after displacement.....I wonder why the coils blew. After I went from ported to sealed, is there anything I should have changed on the amp? Turn the SSF off?

Im getting my older SI reconned since its blown. My question is, whats the BEST for a 15" SI sealed? What airspace before displacment would yield best results?

Well, one of the coils on my mag are blown. Shortly after putting my sub from ported to sealed, I hear danggg danngg when the bass hit hard and I tested both coils...one reads 2 ohms, the other reads anywhere from 14-22 ohms. How much does it cost to get this fixed ? Ive had it for 2 years now, I bought it when the new mags were comin out and they were logoless (no it wasnt stolen, I have receipts from paypal where I sent Nick the $$). Can anyone help? Thanks

Right now I have a SI d2 15" thats logoless. How much would it cost to get the motor replaced with one of the brand new ones? How much is a brand new sub?

well I have seen the plans for the snail shell box for the XXX....What if I stuck a magnum in the same box?

I was on sounddomain.com reading a thread on the XXX subwoofers and how people were building these snail shell boxes for them. They were saying how the sub got crazy loud and its the best ever. Has anyone here put their sub in a snail shell and listened to how it sounded? Anyone got plans so I can try this?
