    SAX100.4 problem

check the positive and ground connections to make sure they are both secure connections. I had the same problem and all I needed to do was re-do my ground wire and after that no more problems...

    Sundown Amps are here!

I'm guessing with the choice of sub it's more of an SQ setup, a smaller port actually has wider bandwidth (less peaky) than a large port as long as it's not TOO small Don't mean to thread jack, but how do you know how small is too small, and how small is good for SQ. I know it probably depends on tuning frequency, what type of drivers ure using and cubic footage of the box. But is there any rule I could use for figuring how big to make a port?? Or a site with a guide maybe?

    SAE 1000D

Next Question 4. My 1000D came in last night and I hooked it up today, everything is working fine, but there is one thing I'm not familiar with. On the side next to all of the controls there is a knob for "Phase," it ranges from 0 to 180, what exactly does this do? 5. My subs only came with one banana plug each but they are able to handle a 1 ohm load, until I have a real set of banana plugs come in, is it safe for me to trim some speaker wire and use that to make the jump from pos. to pos. and neg. to neg. on my voice coils, or is this dangerous? Thanks guys

    SAE 1000D

    1. I'm in the middle of buying an SAE 1000d from a member of another forum and I'm curious about how many amps is this going to draw, I was guessing around a 150 amp fuse (guessed draw to be around 125 amps) assumed .8 efficiency) to be safe, but I'm not sure, and I figured someone on here could give me a much more accurate number and maybe even a link to fuses that would perfectly fit my system. 2. Also I've looked at other topics concerning this amp and it seems that it has 2 positive and 2 negative ports for the speaker wire... but it's a monoblock amp? Once I get the amp i plan on hooking it up to my two Alpine Type R's and I'm wondering, do I hook them up separately so each gets one neg and one positive, or should I just run them through together so both subs share one positive and one negative. I would assume I would put them all in seperate plugs on the amp, but the last time I assumed I blew 2 fuses in a head unit, so better safe than sorry, how should I hook these up? 3. You've got a great product here Jacob, and depending on how this 1000D performs I might be sticking with sundown from now on just because of word of mouth, apparently these amps are awesome. Once I receive the amp I might have a couple more questions, might not, thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer me,
