    Welcome to the IHoP

Umm, lets see. My body was designed to eat meat. You should see how I react to a lack of protein... Yep, quite a lovely article that was in our campus newspaper by the resident retard. Who goes to KState with those ideals? It's an agricultural school. Oh wait, my sister is going there and she's a vegetarian. It is lovely Beth Mendhall, I'm not sure if she has these views or if she just likes pissing off the campus. At least someone in your family made a good choice on schools. Blah blah blah. Ha. My cousin goes there too. But luckily I got into the head of another cousin early enough and she's going to KU after graduating high school next year. So if you count my brother getting his masters and PhD here, it's 3-2 for KU in my family.

went to 18 FI Q and had some questions

How big is your alternator? For power wire, 4 gauge would be ok, 2 gauge better.

I can't run in the morning to save my life. I'm so stiff and my lungs aren't awake either. Which is weird since my brain wakes up quickly in the mornings.

  7. If that RCA knob isn't powered, all it can do is cut the signal. So if your head unit puts out 2v down the RCAs, that knob can only adjust the level going to the amp from 0 to 2 volts. Same thing as the regular volume knob on your head unit. It would also be the same as a sub level setting on your head unit if it had a dedicated sub RCA output. The remote knob for the amp, provided it's not just a bass boost, is an actual gain knob. It adjusts the amp's input level based on the input voltage from the RCAs. So one adjust the voltage, the other reacts to the voltage provided. There's really no reason to run the RCA knob since you have a remote gain now.

Shot baskets for 30-40 minutes, did some leg press, 30 pushups, and some crunches.

I think my gf would be quite upset if that happened.

I can't pick correct players to play in fantasy football to save my life. Every time I swap a bench player for a starter it was the wrong move. Even the switch back the next week was the wrong move.

Dang I'm tired. Haven't slept well in a week. probably won't tonight, either, since my shoulder pain came back today. Just a dull ache inside my right shoulder, feels like right at the socket, that can be either a minor nuisance or a complete make-you-go-crazy hard ache for hours. I'm wondering if the semi-cold weather this morning (55* and 15 mph wind) that I stood in to watch the gf's coed flag football team get destroyed had something to do with it. Fall/winter sure let us know it was on the way.

Today I decided to time my mile, haven't done that in quite a few years. 6:25. Not too bad. I must just not be built for distance.

Time to smoke some ribs. Was going to do it tomorrow since KU plays tonight at 6 and it's on an obscure channel I'd have to go to a sports bar to watch, but all of my friends have other plans already. So I may as well smoke them today and maybe the game will be on the internets

Cancun is pretty safe, and absolutely gorgeous. Some of my friends went to I believe Cancun about two months ago, and a couple days after they left there were a couple of dead Americans found somewhere around there.

if we actually make a profit off this bailout I think I might literally laugh my ass off If I recall, they already made a profit on the big banks they bailed out.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Some of the best family vacations I have had have been on a cruise. I try and take the family on a cruise every year. Believe it or not if you know how to book they are very inexpensive. Do tell the secrets! I became good friends with a booking agent for Carnival, she advises me baised on how many cabins I am booking. Sometimes during the low season you can get below cost bookings which is my favorite time to go. Less kids running around misbehaving and acting like idiots. The gf and I just popped up an idea to go to Hawaii sometime, neither of us have been. Looked it up and the offseason (I think it said september-early december) actually has the best weather. Most people go when the weather is the most rainy- during the winter. Deals are so much better in the offseason. We thought of going on a cruise before. She has been on a couple and really liked them, I've never been on one. But there are different cruises, not every one schedules everything for you. Don't. So MANY better places than Hawaii. Way too spendy for what it is. Suggestions? Goals? Oh.....fun in the sun on a beach? Mountains to hike would be nice. Mexico, the Caribbean, New Zealand, all sorts of options. All better than dealing with the worlds worst tourists in Hawaii. I know a guy from New Zealand, and the gf and I have talked about going to Australia as well. New Zealand does look nice and interesting. Hmm.

Are you following the tutorial for inputting new parameters in winISD's help file? It's really finicky now.

Breaking up deposits may cause leaks.

    Seafoam

I used some seafoam about two years ago on the explorer when it had about 170k miles. I put about 1/3 into a vacuum line and the rest into the gas tank. Surprisingly, for that many miles, I actually didn't have very much smoke at all. Barely any in fact. Which was a bit weird since only a year later my gas pedal started sticking because my throttle body was so greased up. I didn't really notice any difference in gas mileage, throttle response, idle, etc. after using it. I was afraid to use it in the oil because with that many miles I was a bit hesitant about it breaking up deposits that were actually holding seals together and causing leaks, as you said.

Just ran 3 miles in 25 minutes flat. Not quite as fast as I'd like it to be.
