What do you think about these specs for two ICON 12's

I found that the new 12" Icon was very bottom heavy with 2.50cf3 .... almost annoying on some tracks and that program is a piece of shit....... this is for ONE ICON good port velocity and prophile ........ I left some extra room for the port corners and a brace ...if you use a double baffle add the thickness to the depth... I'd do more but it's been a LOONG day -
never mind....... if your system isn't loud and clear enough you won't be able to taste the notes so it doesn't apply

it depends on what hemisphere you are on....... in the north it swirls to the left..... south it swirls to the right got something to do with the GOD particle suspended between the notes I think

I wouldn't say competition destroys the hobby but I find that I go thru a lot less subs now that I don't use bass cd's and do useless test tones for the mic -
I knew that sub wouldn't collect dust forever..............

I tried a few DSP's..... got an Audison Bit One sitting on the floor of my closet collecting dust.... it added a slight noise floor to the 80PRS and really I gained nothing sometimes more is not better -

the 80 prs does a good job on it's own in network mode.... I ran one for 3 years and stuck it in the wifes car when I got the P99RS -

I am shutting production down for about 3 months , I leave Monday to work on an out of town natural gas pipeline
project so I wont be taking any more orders until fall....

I'v had requests for video's of body flex and SPL numbers with my current set up ,
I have no future plans to build another system for the purpose of body flex and to get loud
my current set up is tuned to be tight and detailed with out shaking my car apart
basically I am getting old and I am learning to appreciate listening to music with out
rattling metal or wrecking my car and equiptment to get loud
not going to mention any name but the flux capacitor reply was a joke....
it's not available in any store... LOL ........... 1.21 gigawatts at 88mph

from past experience the W7 sounded bottom heavy and mushy past 3cf and jump's the nest with out a SSF..... I was running a Crown BPX 2200.1 with the testing nice sub but be carefull with clipping the amp...they don't like that very much and they manifest motor noise when the gain is turned too high personally I classify the W7 as a SQ sub... it's loud but if your goal is just loud for the money you can do better with a sub that can handle much more abuse -
to the origional poster...... you have choosen one of the best component sets period , now do some research and work on those doors , there are a few decent build logs around that you can look at to get an Idea what to do to properly deaden the doors and mount a baffle I had 2 sets of these puppies in my last system ...... and as soon as the $$ allows they will be in my current install
