New season is starting on Oct 16. in Greenville NC. There are a few new thing going on In Street Beatz that should make for a great year. First thing is the prize money for finals Starting this season we will be offering Prize money for every class at finals. Throughout the season every entry from every event will add on to the prize money at the end of the season along with every membership. Below is the breakdown of how the money will add up. 1x events- $5 of every entry 2x events- $8 of every entry 3x events- $10 of every entry $10 of every membership $25 of every retailer membership Any donations or product raffles will completely be added to the prize pot To qualify competitors will have to meet all of the requirements listed below to qualify to win the prize money - Become a StreetSPL member - Compete at a minimum of (4) 1x events - Compete at aleast (1) 2x or 3x event - Win their class at StreetSPL Finals We will be offering both trophies and the breakdown of the prize pot for every 1st place winner at finals and if someone who wins their class DOES NOT qualify for the prize money they will still receive $25 plus the 1st place trophy and the prize money not claimed from certain classes will be added to the rest of the classes. 2nd place will win $25 of the finals entry fee back plus a trophy 3rd place will win $15 of the finals entry fee back plus a trophy 4th place and lower will receive $10 of the finals entry fee back There are also new classes NO WALL 1-2500 2501-5000 5001-up (allows 16 volt) Sealed trunk might be gone since we have only had a few competitors all season WALLED 1-2500 2501-5000 5001-10000 10000-up (allows 16 volt) Stealth Limited to 1200 watts Trunk/Hatchback 1-600 601-1200 1201-2200 2201-3500 3501-up Truck/SUV 1-600 601-1200 1201-2200 2201-3500 3501-5000 5001-up So like to see some SSA people come out. those are 2k in the pic not 2.5k. You are dropping voltage along alot rise. 2-2k strapped @ 2ohms (ea amp see 1 ohm)is should give over 4k. My 3k wired at .5 and with a rise over 3 ohm was clamped 2900. And when wired to .25 and a rise around 1.5 was clamped 3400. Thats with my voltage dropping aound 12.7-13 volts

Sundown amps are tested at real world spec. You will get 2500-2800 depending on your impedance rise and you voltage drop.

Should of went with the sundown. The Rf hates anything below 1 ohm. Yea I got pulled the trigger a 4500. but its for someone else that i'm doing a build for. i'm getting 2 2500 soon.

But I don't know If I want to sell it. It was my first sundown product. And its my baby still. Car broke down on me I took it out before I let them tow the car...lol 0.25 is pretty damn low. I got major rise!!!

you should be fine. I ran mine off a yellow top and a kinetick 2400 for ayear before i got a second 2400

Has anyone tried the Sa-12 's in a 4 order bandpass ? What kind of number? I'm thinking of trying 3 in a 4 order. Can anyone design this type of setup?

I got a Saz-1000 in the wife's car runinng a Nightshade 15" V1 @ .05 . She does really well in Streetspl 600-1200 watt class (141.7 center of dash on music). There are a few people running the Aq-1200 and they give her a hard time and we where wondering if it would be a worth the extra money to go to the Sax-1200. We want to keep her in that class so we can't go with anything bigger then 1200 watts. And being a Team Sundown Member I'm not willing to put any else in her car but Sundown. Has anyone clamped the power of the 1200? Is there a a head to head test of the two?

At 1 ohm rising to 2 ohms I got 50% more power from the SAX-1200D 50% :rofl2: :rofl2:

Man if the amps turn on (radio & car off) means its a wiring problem. If it was a amp problem it wouldn't come on at all or it will be in protect. I'm with everyone else in that I think its a problem with your remote wire. Pull your head unit out and check the wires.

The gain on the master amp is a little over half way up, and with the gain knob it's a little below half way up. You think thats too high? I'm going to call you ina second. I had the same problem. Your amps are clipping out. Try starting a few clicks below the volume you start now and roll it up. My head unit goes up to 42 I start at 30 and roll to 38 then I roll the bass knob wide open

Ok I have 1 3k and a 100.4. I have a yellow top under the hood and 2 Kinetik 2400 in the rear. The problem I have is there is no one that makes a alt for my car. I do plan on adding a second alt where the ac compressor but that going to happen at tax time. What I need to know is how many more 2400's I would need to run a 4500. Right now my voltage doesn't drop below 12.5 at full tilt on music. My stock alt is a 90 amp and does 14.5 cold and 13.9 hot. My batterys rest at 13.3. I hope this all the info needed to come up with a answer.

I've tried Mechman,Power master etc etc. The only one that make one for my car is Iarggi (sp) but with everything I hear how about them I rather not even buy from them. what i'm going to do is replace the ac compressor with a second alt. most likely a Mechman 1 wire 200-250 amp
