whats the price on the 600/4? im interested. i have your 2k6 and i love it and would like to compliment it with a highs amp from your lineup.

so i guess i should just hold out, if u only got 2600 on a good electrical. do you think that on my electrical without a high output alt i would see close to 1800-2000? 17volts sounds unreasonable to attain in a daily driver without breaking the bank. not to mention my car is an 86 mercedes i doubt the car itself could handle that much voltage. i guess i could just wait and get kicker 2500 or stetsom 2k, i just wanted a good amp to gimme 2k @2ohms

hey i posted on another forum the question on wether or not it was a good amp for $250 i am buying two kinetik 2000's and i have 0ga wire all around my alt is stock @ 80 to 100a. i am only looking for about 2000 watts because i have 2 fissd's. i got responses back this amp is a current hog and i need to run it @ 17v to get it's full potential but i dont need the full potential, besides arent all amps that provide 4k worth of power current hogs? how do you guys feel about this amp for daily 2k on the electrical set up i have?

hi folks i have this amp since 99 and has been through various installs, but i never knew the tru output of this beast. it is rated at 1200w @12.8 i think but i have recently found that the power is unregulated so i guess the more power you have to feed it the more watts you get. anyone know the the tru power in numbers?

since fi makes such wonderful and accurate woofers are you guys working on mids at all? i would surely purchase these without hesitation.

heres a vid of me flexin just a little. i am being careful with the amp until i get a second battery. but even with the gain set just above minimum it still hurts and is loud and clean enough to make you feel like your head is being squeezed lol. i'll put more vids up as i tune it better

got my ssd's with blue logo on the front. i already know these woofers are the bomb but the different logo color made them that much sweeter. i have already put them on my memphis mch1300 and well they take your breath away even at low volumes. i can't say enough about this brand. i try to get everyone i know to go the fi way lol. i'll get vids up soon

after i put them in the box in my escape, holy s**t i have the gain turned almost all the way down and they hardley flex and the accuracy and deepness is insane. if i ever decide to turn the gain back up i probably wont be hearing for very long. it hurts now and i now i am not driving the amp to even close to it's potential. i am running the memphis belle mch1300, red-top optima, and big three for those interested.

if i remember correctly i have about 2.5 cuft per woofer. just under the max recommended airspace. and its tuned to 33hz. i also have two fi's in a 1.9 cuft per woofer box tuned to 33hz in my benz runnin off of a old school us amps 400, and it absolutely kicks butt it feels like someone stickin a pencil in my ear lol. i am partial to ported boxes because they are much louder and dont require much power to make them sound good. but the good thing about the fi ssd's is as long as the box is even close to their recommended specs it's going to slam! but i like ported much better (hint, hint)

scott or nick, or anybody else that knows i have a question. i have two 12's that i bought in germany and being the dummy that i am i dropped the box they were in and one of them completely broke the basket all the way around! the woofer is still good i was able to line it up and push down and the voicecoil isnt damaged all the surround and wires are still attached. the speaker looks like it has almost the same basket as my fi 12's is it possible to take the woofer and replace the basket so i don't have to buy new woofers yet?and if so can you guys do it? or can only certain speakers be re-attached like this?

i have fi ssd 12's in the trunk of a benz and they will make you feel like somone is sticking a pencil in your ear. if you have the right box the right power fi's will walk all over dual. hell put them in the same box they will still sound better. i put my fi's in a box that was too small until i could make my own and they still were loud as hell and deep! i have heard the dual speakers and they are just cheap flea market crap...all of 'em!!

same here got the ssd's and i can't stop raving about 'em, especially when people hear my car and say damn what the hell is in your trunk?!

well i put an audio control line driver in between my dvd player (crappy power accoustic) and the eq so it feeds a good signal into the eq and it made a world of difference. i turned the gains down on my amps to almost minimal and i get no distortion,feedback or hissing. for the people that said there is no benifit that blanket statement is a load of crap and really pisses me off because it all depends on your head unit and or eq and what your looking to do with them and the sound they put out. as far as a line driver making your amps run cooler...well i don't see mich of a difference in that. mainly because even though the amp is recieving a clearer louder signal it's still causing your amp to put out it's power. and if you are going to try a line driver use one that is worth the money or it will be no use. audiocontrol (imo the best), ppi, jlaudio, phoenix gold. youll pay a little more but it will be worth it if you do it right.

i don't have the 400x i have the usa400 same amp just no crossovers. and i wouldn't sell it or trade it for any other amp. it's been running strong since 99 when i got it. right now it's on two fi ssd12's and they knock hard as hell. you'll be very happy with the 400x

now i see what you are trying to do, although i don't know how to compute for the pr those other guys seem to know what they are doing though. and yes i love to have a concert sound in my car but i allow for more bass from the kicks so my woofers don't have to play too many higher notes. i use the 3.1 audiocontrol to blend and control what goes where. well hopefully you get the sound you're after. i have'nt heard the q's but i would think they are better suited to the sound you're looking for. i dunno i think i'll leave this alone i'm probably a fish out of water on this lol

i read the sticky for something else those other parameters don't concern me, maybe in a competition but being an average ...nah. i didn't mean to imply that scott and nick just threw out numbers to make us go ooohhh and ahhh either. what i meant is you really dont have to overthink with these woofers, unless you are trying to compete and squeeze every last tenths you can get. they put the ported and sealed numbers up there with care. remember this company has a lot too lose by false numbers. otherwise, they would've been labeled junk already. these woofers are very rugged and sound good. i had them in a too small prefab box and they sounded pretty damn nice. then i built a box to the minimum specs of 1.9 cu per woofer tuned to 33hz and they absolutely kick ass. like i said before if you are competing then i guess it would matter but if you aren't then go with it, build a box to thier recommended specs, and let the woofers speak for themselves, and don't sweat the little things

well idk about pr's and ts's lol. i have two ssd 12's with copper option in a ported box with about 600 watts apiece and they absolutely slam, the lows are ridiculous. the setup actually hurts when i crank it. people get so caught up in numbers they forget to just listen, besides there is a sticky that tells you what type of enclosures to use. it lists all the numbers you can handle.
