"little less sq" just a little? If thats the case then i may just go with the bl. I really want a sq setup though so idk. If looking for an SQ setup, then I would recommend going with the Q's, but would get different amps. I have done alot of playing with the soundstream amps, the 2000d's and the 6500's, and they did good power, but definately werent the cleanest amps. But I do agree, if looking more for an SQ type setup, go with the Q's.

Definately not the same. The BL's use a larger motor structure, and have a different cooling process. The BL's SQ isnt quite a good as the Q, but dont get me wrong, the BL's sound good. The BL's with the cooling option and flatwind coil will handle more power than a Q as well, and have more output than a Q. for 1000-1200rms I would recommend a Q, for 1200-2000 I would recommend a BL, depending on the options.
-
I believe the amp is one ohm mono, so you would want D1's. Also thats alot of power for Q's, you will be fine if you set the gains right. With that much power though you might want to look at doing the Full Loaded BL's. Little less SQ, but will def have better output, and handle the power better.

Awsome bro, and yeah we want pics and review when you get everything goin!
-
Off my head I dont know what the price would be, but yes, you can send in a ssd 12 and have it built into an ssd 15, 18, or 10.
-
Yeah see what happens, you took 2nd at world finals, and almost won, had it have been about 1 second shorter!

Found a vid on you on CA.com John http://s62.photobucket.com/albums/h108/Nee...dioShows071.flv

Q's can get loud, they did very well in the big 12 challenge, but the BL's can get louder. If looking for more output over sq, I would def go for the BL's.
-
no sir I cant. sorry brother, if I could, I would def help ya out.
-
copper coil stays at the 800 rms rating, now Flatwind option bumps rms to 1000.

Florida is definately repping Fi Car Audio. There is a ton of ppl with our products down here, I think its awsome. And hey everyone knows if they have an questions or need help, Im not to far away! I hear there is another big vehicle coming out with Fi too!
-
I will talk to aaron about bringing them back, here to our section. Maybe they could just be copied over to the review section, but I would really like to keep our reviews in our section, if that is at all possible, b/c not many ppl look at the review section, but instead ask a question here, and if the the reviews were here in our section, that might already look at them, and have there question answered. But again, I will talk to aaron.

The Q will do great in the .95, but I would add 1 lb of polyfill per sub. A clean 800 watts RMS will do great on the sub, it can take more, but will get loud, and sound great with the 800.
-
i saw the post and already talked to scott about it, he should be on here, or email you about the change, it wont be a problem!
-
It will be loud, I can guarantee that. But this chit aint like burger king, it aint your way. This is more like Communist Russia!
-
Your welcome bud. Thats my carry, Sig Sauer P229. Love it!
-
You will be fine, if its a nice clean 900rms.

I just mocked it up for you in Bass Box Pro 6, with 6.2 cubes, and yes the ports are right if using 2 4" aero ports. I didnt calculate out the box size. I just used the 6.2 cubes, if you want me to I can make sure the airspace is right too. Shawn

Florida SSA Meet
ShawnFleming replied to CBFryman's topic in Competitions & Other Organized SPL/SQ Events
ok guys if we do it at the end of October or after, I will have a pair of 12's from each line of Fi Car Audio, a pair of x's, a pair of ssd's, a pair of q's and a pair of btl's, for everyone to see, play with, and just experience. I am currently in Europe for work. And will be back in a few weeks. Then I have to get ready for db drag world finals on Oct. 14th and 15th in Louisville, KY. This is always the busiest time of the year for me, but I want to get this meet going, that way everyone can experience Fi Car Audio. I will have my meter on hand, and if enough people are interested, we can turn it into a single point db drag event, but you guys have to let me know if there is enough interest. I usually do shows, charge $20 per person, and after the expenses are paid, split that money up, and seperate it between the winners of each class. But again just let me know. Shawn Fleming -
I will still be using the RE MT 18's thats for sure, there isnt a woofer on the market that is louder in my setup and I have tried them all! But that is all I can say about the van until you guys see it at finals. I nned to keep a couple things under wraps until everything is worked out and I see if it works. Thanks. If anyone has any other questions just let me know.

I did post some numbers. 3rd in the world certified in SS 3-4 with a 163.0 with this van.
