Kit cost me 50$ back in 07. Haven't spent anything on 4ga. nowadays I know it's a little more expensive but I still buy the good stuff just because of my past experiences. And Well yeah isn't that the point? to have more current to make amps run better? I never said ofc is for sq, I said running ofc wire alone to my front stage boosted clarity . Before switching to ofc power wires. All together system did gain from ofc. Like I said you can buy anything you want it's your money.

Why would I have ran another 4 to feed a 4 ga insert?.. the job gets done in 1 run and you don't leave room for doubt and gain durability. cheap becomes expensive. I still have that copper tinned streetwire 4ga from 10 years ago. Works perfectly fine.

Well from past experience I've ran 4ga cca wire to a Rockford 1500 bdcp and did ok as expected. All ran with American bass kit.. i then saved some cash and bought street wires ofc 4 ga kit. Let me say the change was noticeable going from cca to ofc.. front stage also did get more clarity going from cca to ofc.. I went thru the same thing on 1/0. Then again it's your money, spend it however you want to lol

Yeah at least from my research most indicate jl audio is more about SQ. That set up I heard wasn't pushing a lot of dbs , it was moving air tho.

I've only heard w7 once in a wall of 6 12s, with rap music , so I didn't get to hear the sound they actually reproduce. that being said I couldn't risk spending 1k for a sub and end up dissapointed.. Then I remember watching a YouTube video where the mtx 9500 outdid the w7 plugged into a wall outlet, I was amazed lmao... you went thru the same sundown sub 3 times?

Gotcha I thought you were serious , i live in a bungalow style home so living room isn't huge. I think a 3.1 would be my ideal set up , but I could settle with a 3/2 meanwhile.. built for sure lol I know building them will open up more options. Although I'll buy if it's good enough Box Sizes and location its a tough question right now and I'd need more time to plan up. Yes source will be tv / Xbox.

Understood.. but I did state that I was going to use a soundbar on low to medium volumes, and use it to watch nothing but movies on it. So lets say I buy a Yamaha receiver 5.1.. what pair of speakers and sub could I use? To beat that 700$ sound bar you talked about?

I mean it must be safe to say you must count receiver in the deal because that's your source and they're not cheap right?

yeah it looks discontinued , I went to the local Best Buy but end up not choosing anything . Some models weren't powered on so I'm hold off till I go to a different Best Buy

I have both xcon and zcon. Both subs are amazing and incredible. In terms of loudness and output , zcons take the cake. xcon doesn't fall too short behind in that segment. To my ears the xcon has more control and plays very smooth and accurate thruout the frequency band. They could get very loud if you want them to. Def one of my favorite subs.. Zcon on other hand does almost the same only it Is much more brutal when volume is up, and bass is "thicker" when playing low. both subs can't be pinned against eachother, both do amazing depending on your goals.

This inspired me , good work man hope it exceeds expectations

well for one I like the idea of it not taking nearly any space (don't have a lot) and 2nd I'm only going to watch movies on it on low to mid volume.. plus I have 2 boys who grab anything in their path.. I already know it won't be as good but just thought someone would have an idea of a decent sound bar

Have you tried nvx yourself? Brands being more budget friendly doesnt necessarily mean they're total turds. If your looking for the cheapest copy of a bunch then go for it man. Like we all know internals/build quality could change. It's a gamble out here lol I would say just choose a vendor wisely.

What happen man? You started with a question over who makes what and now you have all these fun facts lol i have a synergy amp WFO 35.1 to be exact. I have nothing to complain about, it does a well job for daily listening and it's been reliable since spring 16'. Its worth the money > In my opinion <.. In comparison to the 2.5k shok industries ii amp I had before, shok did sound bit cleaner. Probably due to the fact that it needed less juice??.. anyway I noticed some of those amps price is higher due to it being able to handle more volts. Then again I'm no expert lol...
