    Any advice will do

alright guys so I'm getting my alternator within a month, and getting ready tear apart my ride and redo my whole wiring (to get rid on an alternator wine) and to complete my car with all sky high. anyways, wanted to switch my enclosure to birch wood with the fact that it is lighter than mdf and that natural look, looks a whole lot better the way i have my enclosure right now its tuned to 33hz, subs pointing upward port towards the back, love how it sounds (gets down, windshield flexes) on 3 10's so my other option was to make an enclosure and seal my trunk having subs and port pointing forward, never tried it but i have seen some videos of some enclosures getting loud (yet never seen first hand) for daily use, some demos and hopefully getting good numbers. anyways wanted to see what you guys can recommend me.. let me know thanks

    alternator advice

Even with a 180A alt you're going to need more battery than 70AH, in my experience 1 group 31 per 2500w, so you're going to need at least 2. and if you read the post again, I'm getting another battery (soon approximately next week but instead of helping you just rather put people down! come on homie When did i put anyone down? leave it at that man, thanks anyways

    alternator advice

Did you read his first post He said he's looking to upgrade k.. then the 180 will be fine...... Did you read his 11 other posts that he only has bank (edit, i mean MONEY here) for the alt he mentioned? Do you see him running a audio pipe amp? Just me, BUT, i dont think this member needs a 700$ alt. Appreciate the heads up though, bro..... yet again, you didn't have to be a b*tch about it, its advice man, you take it to the next level. You didn't even bother reading through the post until the second page, there are different ways to communicate rather than just outputting thoughts and opinions.. yet, thanks
  14. so this kid on SMD claims that i should be ok with an 80 amp stock alternator running off an audio pipe 2000 together with a rockford 250.4 as it is i have major volt drop, have a yellow top under the hood and an xs power xp950 I'm looking forward into buying a singer alt 180 amps but trying to see if it'll be good even after i purchase a larger amp which I'm thinking about the soundqubed q1 3500 let me know what you guys think, should i stick to the 180 amps and still be good in the future? (still gonna purchase a second xp950 in the near future)
