nightshade 15s or fi bl 15s

also if he wanted a B-stock motor new soft parts they were very cheap and there is the Z-15 that would be actually closer to the BL than the NS that too is going on sale from what the little birdie told me but either company makes great products im sure you will be happy with the BLs

    need some advice

i had 4 NS 15's in a bronco II with 2 SAZ-3000's and it was loud but i only did 15's to stay below the window line. if your not worried about that go with the 18's. the 15's need 3-4 ft^3 ea and the 18's need 4-5ft^3 ea and you would be loud with 1500 EA sub i actually have the 4 15's box still that should fin in your explorer its 12ft^3 ill sell you lol

    Powering a sundown 4500d

i have 2 of the protos and 5 Stinger SPV70's a 350amp alt and on music i almost immediately voltage drops to 12.0V @ 2000 RPMs im my personal opinion i would use no less than 4 group 31 batts and as big of an alt you can get for bass race or music on a regular basis but i love them
  20. canuhearmenow

    SAZ 2000 installed

you can charge the 2 batcaps at the same time but i dont think you will get a full charge on them if you do all 3 im not 100% though. i dont know if you know this but batcaps as great of a batt as it is they arent great for alt charging or much music they are know as a fast discharge slow recharge the best for burps though i hope i helped if not o well i tried lol

    How efficient is the Z15?

im not sure if anyone compared it to them yet but did you see the 15" challenge on CA.com? that can give you an idea of what it is as for my option i think it is better than 95% of the 1000w drivers out there in build quality and in accuracy IMO you cant go wrong with it at all you should be very happy with it

should I get a volt meter?

in my testing 3 D3100's per 3500 with a HO alt when the amp is @ 1 ohm and in all tech. you should have 1 pos and neg per batt and have buss bars on the batts with no less than .25 thick your electrical will make the amps work to there full potential. yes you should have a volt meter up front and you should not let it get below 11.0 V its very hard on equipment when it gets much below that. it sounds like you are on the right track though cant wait to see what else you have to come. post up pics when you get it done and lets see some #s

    12v or 16v

powermaster is the only way to go IMO, when i run 16V i used an external regulator and powermaster stepdowns to charge my 12V and i also used a relay with 16V for a remote turn on as for how many if you run powermaster on a 1500D you should be ok with 2 / amp if its kinetiks i would recommend no less than 3/amp if your not careful with the kinetiks and you use the 12V post you can bulge the batt. but i love 16V definitely a great way to go
