I don't know if your wanting more sq or spl, I didn't really read every post but I just got the saz 1500 and I just ordered two FI SSD's dual 1 ohms and copper coils, and they meaning FI hold the record in BassRace. I know they will hit really frickin hard and still have great SQ. Oh and they cost $388 shipped, and the used sundown amps are great, and the 1500 are way underrated and can pump out well more than 1500 watts.

figure for every thousand watts 1 extra battery. your alternator should be able to charge both your main battery and a secondary battery but I don't know if you were planning to buy another battery it would be a good idea, and it is cheaper than a capacitor and way more worth it. and you would have no light dimming problems.

so I am guessing galactic is the one who had 8 1500's and got rid of them for 6 3000's if so nice, thanks for keeping my 1500 nice it looks great.

What do you guys think of pioneers new avic line coming out the F series. I think I am just gonna wait and get the F90BT I think it is, it looks freaking awesome compared to the D3.

yeh but it isn't real hard to get an ip changing program that can say you are from anywhere in the world, I have one but I'm not stupid enough to use it for this. just my two cents. or should I say "smart enough" go Acex

Which one should I get? Alpine IVA-W505 Pioneer Avic-D3 Clarion Max 685BT It has to have Ipod hookup, XM, Steering controls, Sub volume Control, and a remote. Question I already have XM will it just hook into any of these. Price is not that big of a factor so Don't pick the cheapest because it is the cheapest. O and I have an 04 Escalade.

I am going to get 2 SSD 12's. I don't know what options to get on these as far as Dual 1 ohm or Dual 2 ohm, Flatwind coil or Copper coil and what is the BP option?

I have an 04 escalade and am wondering if I get a new Deck from say pioneer a dvd player double din style, can I still have my steering wheel controls? There is a lot more than just audio on my steering wheel pertaining to oil readings and gas readings and mileage and all kinds of stuff. Does anyone know what is all controlled by the current head unit and what can be lost from changing it out?

I'm am totally lost. All I know is that houses run 8 ohms and cars run from .5 to 4 ohms. what is the difference between running a sub at say 300 x 1 at 2 ohms and 200 x 1 at 4 ohms? What are ohms exactly?

Alright guys new one for you, My stupid city is now getting ready to pass a new law which states that if your sound system is too loud in your car, the police IMPOUND your car. Am I losing it or is this not the most Freaking DUMB THING you've ever heard in your life. If a cop can hear your music from over 25 feet, they fine you 650 dollars, and they impound your car. So much for getting a new sound system in my car. SARASOTA, FLORIDA I HATE YOU. any thoughts would be appreciated.

(poor senior citizens just sitting in traffic sipping their prune juice and BOOOOM, little jimmy comes and scares 5 years off their life)....... That's the best post so far. You don't just get let off here in this city which is made up of all old people getting ready to die. There the ones that complain and their the ones paying the city to make stupid laws like this. You know that a cop having a bad day is totally going to pull someone over who is just listening to their stereo relatively quietly and impound their car and fine them 650$ you can't tell me that's not wrong. In reality, then why do you have a stereo in your car what is the point. Regular listening volumes still emit a large enough sound to get your car taken away that's really ridiculous. whether your pumping your music or not. if your volume is slightly loud your screwed.

Your not understanding, your windows don't have to be down. If they hear bass emitting from your car your car it is impounded. windows rolled up you still get your car taken.
