When you put those batteries under the console, is that vented at all? I want the same exact thing for my main front seat console.

Yeah,im going to take the old midgate and cut out a whole that this box will fit into. That way itll act as a wall. Keeping the bass in the cab and not the bed. well sealed the spectrom was atad higher. So i lost some of the higher bass notes, but also picked up some lower notes that i wasnt getting before. the lower the notes the harder it hits. Example i heard usher shorty i dont mind. 2,main bass notes in that,song. Before i hit the higher 1 but,completely died on the lower note. Now i get em both really well. but but really theze subs did really well in the sealed box. I was shacking mirrors but not my bottles in the cup holder. Im still not shaking bottles. ive only got bout 1hr playtime on it so,far. Ive got more music to try out on it yet. but i,do know i want to for,sure still go with the zcon later on. I want alot more than just this cresendo 2k. Overall im pretty haply with it.

ok so i've had a plan by end of this summer i want 2 15in zcons. but until then i thought what the hell let's see what these icons can do in a ported box. so i had a local box builder make me 1. i picked it up tuesday, spray painted it, brushed on herculiner bedliner, and finally got it in today. i don't have a paint gun or air compressor, but then again it's not permanent. the new box is 4.51cu @34hz. i'm happy with the build of the box it's really strong, he put in some small 45's, he 45'ed the underside corners. it is a lil louder in the lows, but not as loud as i thought it might go. but then again i may be looseing alot to going into the bed. i am planing on cutting up the old box into a trim for the new to block this off, which i'll work on this week. i also painted up my plasitic under the hood a lil bit.

4in rancho lift but it actually lifted about 5in. 35x12.5x17 bf mud terrains. I wanted a lift but I thought 6 maybe a lil much for using it daily. but I like right where it's at. I've gotta local box builder making me a ported right now. i'll have pics later this week of it. I wanna see what these icons are capable of. I made this midgate I have now, i'll probably make the next box I have. I've just been busy so i'll let the expert make this 1.

sony 65in 4k 850b. klipsch reference line from bestbuy w/12in sub. and yes i need to orginize my wires again. they were all tied up before but i moved it to this wall and hadn't done it again. the tv i love wouldn't change it for anything, but i do want to upgrade the klipsch someday. they sound great but the horns are fairly subtle. i believe the higher end models are quite a bit more for my likeing. the sub is pretty nice too, not really a complaint about it.

So i,didnt see anything for a front stage planned yet. You have that figured out? I was going to go with the cresendo mids,and f1 tweets cause all ive heard is great things about them, but nobody on this site seems to like them. Even tho they havent recomended anything else anywhere ive read. So personally i have no idea where to turn yet.

on the 02-06 avy's they had the stock battery up front driver corner. I have 1 in each corner myself right now. looking good man. did that duel alt bracket come from stinger? how much did that run ya. all of em I've seen are like $290. those "pass thrus" are water drainage for the bed obviously great for running wireing thru too. couldn't find ya on facebook. there must be 100 lee carter names on there

holly crap 59 pages I just went thru. this new set up looks unbelievably good blue n green wire against the white what I don't get is this whole. "I'm gonna prove these myths about caps to be false". now I maybe it's just me but anytime I hear about caps in a car audio application I'm thinking regular caps, such as stinger, Rockford fosgate, planet audio things like that. then you go and use super caps which is fine but they are 100 times more advanced than regular caps and not even comparable. can't wait to see this thing done. for sure following this. beautiful job

I have a 2003 chevy avalanche. new to forums but not to SSA. I have 2 12in icons currently. but I'm planning on changing my whole system around. originally I planed for more sq. but it's just not loud enough for me. sooooo I'm still in the planning stage. but I've almost got it figured out.

love that color avy cresendo amps match really good with it lol. im planing mine out right now for my avy so im definately got a huge intrest in this build. im thinking about that same bc5500 and 1100.4 different subs, enclosure, tune, mids n highs tho. box looks great keep up the good work
