Question whats the difference between the 2 hds300 series on their magnet? what is the difference?

The hds 300. i noticed that one had a flat bottom and the other one didnt. i post the pic of the hds300 models one sticks out from the bottom of the magnet and the other is flat. both are hds300s but the magnets look different.
