  1. Sorry guys i should have been clearer in my asking......... What i meant to ask was basically; Amplifiers are able to produce power at different loads....what differences ,if any, in terms of output power, heat produced, sound quality, dampening factor, slew rate, thd etc, are there when an amplifier is run at a 4ohm load as oppossed to a 2 ohm load? Basically i guess it boils down to an "is it better to run an amplifier at a higher or lower load" that is,if the amplifier is able to do so? Pros and Cons with proper explanation would be nice as well Thanks guys
  2. Haven't been here in a while guys Just wanted to know the advantages and disadvantages of running amplifiers at different loads. Nothing specific, in terms of amplifier brand, but just general advantages and disadvantages. Thanks.
  3. A friend told me that their 1/0 gauge is like stinger 2 gauge. Never seen it for myself however.

    international dealers

are there any powermaster dealers in Trinidad? importing batteries is a byatch. The taxes and duties amount to about as much as the battery itself.

    t/s parameters

thanks bromo. it's all i got as well.

    Elevation audio

Anyone familiar with elevation audio's Execution 12's or 15's? how good are they when compared to either DD 3500,RE SX,DC lvl3 and 4 etc(you catch my drift) in terms of street bass and possibly building a vehicle for bass boxing purposes?
  7. IXOS has everything. To a certain point the brand name cable has its advantages. after that i guess the price begins to be based on looks and presentation.

    t/s parameters

does anyone know the t/s parameters for an oz matrix elite 12.2(dual 2 ohm voice coils) since i can't find the bl or sd measurements anywhere? and from your past experiences what enclosure size, port and tuning is best recommended for maximum street bass?

box and port 2AA chaos 10's

what net enclosure size would you also recommend for that size of port?

box and port 2AA chaos 10's

so in terms of the chaos 10's, basically factory recommended specs are the best bet........then what edge do we have over other persons with 2 10's. In Trinidad, where i'm from, we have a of of street car soundoffs, people use rockfords, dc audio, digital designs,re etc just to name a few. I wanted to be different, in terms of brandname, AA is fairly new and we don't have access to ssa's or fi's as yet. So my choice of 10's is somewhat limited. What can be done to maximise the output of these subs to sound impressive in the 'gallery' or 'bang out' sense of the word?

    AA Chaos

you could also try 2 sae1000d's as yama 168 says he gets good results from that combination also.

box and port 2AA chaos 10's

got it. thanks brian. i may now have to look at other options as i also have a chaos 12" at my disposal. would this along with the saz1500 be the better option, if so, what size box, port etc should i go for maximum street bass performance. (I had the big 3 upgrade done yesterday, using a stock 80amp alt however, and a kinetic 1800 installed and 1 run of 0 gauge ixos cabe so far) any views?
  13. mikett

box and port 2AA chaos 10's

brian, i also have 2 sae1000 and a saz1500 would either of these be better to use in terms of power and is the saz1500 stable to .5 ohm with the proper electrical mods?
  14. In anyone's professional opinion, what port area would you recommend for 2 AAchaos 10's in a 5 cuft box running off 1 saz3000 at half ohm(or do you think this is too much for the amplifier?)? to be tuned to 33hz for street bass use. 5cuft is what i have available any recommendations?

    Newbs pleeze read b4 posting

This is the right place for anyone involved in car audio. Since, i guess no one person knows everything and we can all learn from each other.
