  1. Too funny, I didn't even think of that. Its all slow like Bill too.
  2. I really don't see how free speech applies here. He is in a court room during an active session. A murder trial of all things where the prosecution is seeking the death penalty. So someones life is at stake here. You don't talk, make faces, make gestures, nothing. He fucked up plain and simple, thought he was being silly. I'm sure the judge is making an example of him, because there has been so many things happening during this trial he is trying to make sure there is not a mistrial because of some idiot.
  3. Some douche bag went to the Casey Anthony Murder Trial and decided it would be funny to stick up his middle finger at the TV camera during the trial. Watch the video, he was right, it was funny!! Casey Anthony trial: 28-year-old man held in contempt for middle finger hand gesture

    speaker pins or banana plugs?

Like the others said, just strip the ends of the wire and put that in the terminals, It will have more contact area with the terminals.

Thanks! Yea, I like having those tools. They certainly come in handy when you need them!! I have a switchable MLA, for now I have it at 14.6, but the other setting is 15.2. I think when I initially metered it I got 15.6, but that drops down to 15.2 fairly quickly as the alt heats up. I don't think it will be pulling that much current from the front. But if I start popping fuses, I'll run more cable for sure. I have a bank of 5 XSPower batteries in the spare tire well where the amps will be connected to. The alt only produces 250amps and there is just the one battery up front. Both runs of + are fused at 300 so the cables won't cook if it does try to feed more. Inside the enclosure where the ports terminate, they are pointed away from the walls and are at least 6 to 7 inches ( I can't remember exactly how much ) away from the walls, so they should be ok. The enclosure is over 8cf gross and like 5.8cf net after subs, dowels, resin and ports. Thats about spot on with what Jacob recommended for these subs, between 5 and 6cf. Thanks !! It sure is taking longer, but I'd rather enjoy it later than mess something up by rushing.

Thanks guys!! Hopefully after New Years I can get back to work on it. All the Christmas decorations are stacked around my box and workbench so they are trapped. Once that stuff goes back up into the attic, its on!!

    Amp is clipping?

Also, you have to adjust your gains to match the input voltage coming from your head unit. If your head unit has a higher preamp voltage than your friends, your amp could clip at a lower gain setting than his.

A little progress was made today. Started doing resin 45's in the box. Once those are done I'll give the inside a little sanding to smooth out the resin on the walls.

Thanks! I'll have an update tomorrow, doing some resin 45's in the box and some more sanding on the kicks. Just haven't taken any pics yet.
  14. Any idea why the amp was going into protect? I can't see a cracked dustcap causing that.
