Any updates on the status of these beasts?

Any word on these? I see emfaudio has them on there site and it says expected release date is February 3rd. Is this true? I'm dying for these to come out

honestly this sub is just my beater until i get something bigger so i just dropped it in my trunk and wired it, i not worried about blowing it or anyhting. stupid, i know..

sold my bl 15 and picked up an sa8 v2 about a week ago, running it off a sundown sae 1200D @ 2 ohms, i found a box design on another forum and built it. first impression i wasnt blown away but after break in i turned the gain up to about 3/4 and i am now very happy with it, it gets low and loud for being a single 8. great sub!

first off i havent been on this forum in a while but im looking for a new setup soon and getting back into the scene. so anyway i sold my friend my fi bl 15 in a 3.4 cu.ft. box tuned to i think 30hz. i had it in the trunk of my 95 civic running off of a sundown sae-1200D and it sounded good and hit pretty low. once i installed it in my friends late model malibu it was running off a sundown saz-1000D it honestly didnt sound to good at all. so he is looking for more and he wants 2 15's but i told him its not gonna fit, so i suggested a single fi btl n2 12 or maybe 2 bl 12's, hes not rich so his buget isnt to big. any suggestions would be great thanks!

how would i know where to put the the power wire on the fuse panel. and also i did a 98 ford explorer before and it had a factory amp and the HU turned on but the door speakers wouldnt work at all just the subs. so if anyone has had this problem before let me know. thanks for the help.

i just hard wired the radio to my battery and it works fine so i am think im going to have to find somewhere to ground it in the truck, but it will probably have to be a few feet long because everything around the HU is plastic. does it matter how long the ground wire from the kenwood is?

thanks for replying. im looking at the harness and the only type of ground is that blck and white wire that says amplifier ground? im guessing the truck has some kind of factory amp in it somewhere?

first off im a 16 year old kid with little experience. ive done a few installs before but not very many. i have a single bl 15 on a sundown sae-1200d. but anyways my friend has a 1998 dodoge dakota and i was attempting to put a brand new kenwood head unit in it. and when i was wiring the after market harness to the head unit harness there were some weird wires. theres two harnesses to wire, one has 3 of 4 speakers and the remote wire on it and the other has power, ignition, illumination, dimmer, right front negative, amplifier ground, and mute. there is no wire from after market harness for left front negative but the one that says amp ground is the same color (white and black) so i plugged it all in and i wired HU ground to white and black wire that said amp ground, turned the key radio didnt light up or anything. also on the back of the factory HU the was a connector that was clipped to the metal sheild on the back of it that said amp. im guessing it was a ground. so i took the groundwire from the kenwood HU harness and and tryed grounding it to the clip on the back of the factory HU. still nothing. so i just put the factory HU back in and i am going to hook the kenwood up to my battery later and see if it lights up to make sure its not bad. so can anyone please help me with this problem, my friends doesnt want to spend 50 bucks at best buy to have it installed. thanks

my friend has 3 single voice coil 4ohm pioneers and he asked me what would be a good amp and i recomended a sun down SAZ-1000 but it would be ran @ 1.33 ohms on around 12.9 volts. each sub is 400 watts RMS so thhats 1200 watts RMS. i was wondering if anybody could tell me about how many watts the sundown would put out under these sercumstances. i dont how much extra power the pioneers could handle so i would like the RMS a lil bit lower then 1200 just to be safe. they r also a few years old.

im no expert but im not sure u should run old model BL's with the new ones.(i read a post a few days ago about it) because i dont think anybody is selling 09 Bl's yet but i might be wrong
