  1. this has been an ongoing thing for me and i cant sit on it anymore. late last year i ordered 4 tejcurrent alts and a quad bracket. alts came in, everything was fine, till early this year i started having problems. 1 alt went out, sent it in, Troy fixed it and said he was going to ship it out asap. well shortly after this, i had the rest tested, they wer all fine so i put them all back on with my stock alt in the missing ones position. 3 days later EVERY ONE OF THE ALTS quit working, even the stock. took them off, put my mechman 270 back on and it has worked fine ever since. the alts have a 1 year warranty. i have tried contacting him several times since. no answer to emails or PM's on SSA. i lost his number, and from my understanding several other ppl are in my same situation. i have 3 dead alts at my house and the one alt that i shipped him that i never received. i have since sold the bracket and retired the truck for my new build. anyone on here know Troy jones or talked to him recently? this is getting rediculous. i know i can have someone fix them but that requires paying for them. and considering they have a warranty i dont really wanna go that route. anyone know anything?
  2. Sundown One 4685 Wabash Avenue Springfield, IL 62711 Its time for another DISTURBING THE PEACE show! Last year Team DTF and Sundown one got together to create an EPIC show, and that it was! We had 72 competitors and hundreds of spectators and show cars stop by. Streets were clogged and parking lots were full... this year we hope to have way more people! We will have 4ft trophys for 5 classes and 36" trophys for first place so they are all bi...gger than last year. If you have another show on this date or somthing you think is more important cancel it! This will be a huge show full of loud cars and fun times. Bring whoever you want and come down and have some fun with us all night. THIS IS A DEMO FRIENDLY AREA.... even though last year we wer getting complaints from over a mile away! but we love demos and love hairtricks ***Alpine will be here with lots of euipment to raffle off! CLASSES... -Based on 4 ohm rating like USACi -Street- 0-1000 1001-2000 2001-4000 4000+ -Mod- 0-1000 1001-2000 2001-4000 4000+ Best of show Best custom install Best neons Best work in progress Loudest at the show Street includes trunk cars and suvs with no walls. boxes that take up the whole back area but arent sealed off are NOT in street Mod includes walls and blowthroughs. It is staffs judgment on weather or not you are in MOD or STREET..aka KYLE GOLDEN, ROBIE KARHLIKER, JEFF WOLF, or someone who has been put in charge of classing vehicles Trophys for 1st 2nd and 3rd $20 entry for show or competition. NO VEHICLES WHO HAVENT PAID AN ENTRY FEE WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE LOT... last year we had alot of spectator cars in our lot and it was a madhouse. so park in the designated spectator area or Steve white will hook your car to one of his Toyotas and drag it down the road Sign in starts at 5, metering starts at 6 and goes on late

    1999 Silverado Quad 230 install

Here is pics of my Tejcurrent quad alt and bracket install in my 99 silverado. install took around 3-4 hours total. instructions were very detailed though, with very good pictures to help. thanks Troy! pics of the alts and all hardware out of the box! old mechman alt the ECM has to be moved forward to allow clearance. to do so take the battery tray out and the ecm will unbolt. bolt it back in forward so that the second hole is now in the first position make sure you grind off the powdercoating around the mounting bolts before you install or you wont get a good ground connection.
