I would always brace the enclosure. Silly not to use bracing since it takes very little internal volume. If an enclosure is so close on the internal space you have that bracing would throw it off, its time to back up and work up a design for plan B. I agree with Sean, Window bracing FTW!

No. The incredible goop. ^ This! Thats what I used when I blew off a dust cap. I figured if I used CA glue and it came off again it would take the cone with it as it would be into the fibers. With the GOOP I thought I might have another chance if something went wrong. That said it has never came off again and the little bit of excess I could rub off with my finger to make it look pretty again.

Only number that counts is sealed up on the dash. Run a sweep then burp the loudest frequency. There are lots of tricks to gain tenths. Play with the seats, sun visors, open empty center console, open the glove box. OR You could do like I do and just roll up play your favorite songs and do nothing with all the above. lol

The Brazilian amps do not have the best reputation. They seem to be very finicky with voltage. One could say they go poof because of user error, but it seems to happen more often than the Korean amps.
