    E8v2d4

I might be getting a couple of those. Id say 200-300 per sub depending on the box.

    E8 help

Designed a slot ported box that will hold 2 E8s. I was told by a few people that my design didn't work because the tuning was lower than the FS # of the sub. SA-12s Back In Stock

hip hip hooray I know it says 1 cu ft sealed, would 1.2 make any diff?

    SA 10

Any updates yet? Can't decide to wait for a 10 or just get a 12. If the price diff is minimal, I'll probably end up getting a 12.
  6. My sub choices consist of the following: FI SSD, Ascendant Arsenal, Treo TE or SSi, Incrminator Li. all are 10" Would like to know how each of these subs rate musically wise that can still get fairly loud when needed. Would like to use a small sealed box.

    Box for single SSD 10

0.35 after displacement is the goal according to the FI techs. Just now have to order the SSD before they stop building them.

    Box for single SSD 10

Thanks, that looks like a good fit for my car.

From: Box for single SSD 10

For a box that will yield a .47 cu ft overall I got these dimensions: 12.5" W x 11.5" H x 9" D (outside measurements with 3/4 thick MDF). Anyone care to double check my #'s to make sure its good before I have my box built? edit: 12" x 13.5" x 8" looks good. Looks like I've got 2 possible boxes to work with.

    Box for single SSD 10

Scott suggested that I do a 0.47 cu ft box. I'm having trouble finding the right dimensions. Can anyone help?

You're comparing apples to oranges. And you can't just say "compare this!". Doesn't work that way. I kinda figured I'd get a response like this. Now with that out of the way, I guess my real question is: Would there be any difference in output running the sub in a .5 cu ft box, vs a .65 cu ft box?

Didn't know if this belonged on the tech page, so here goes. Just recently looked at the SSD 10 and 12". Looks to me they have the same power handling. Anyways Im currenty torn between the two of them. I know I would get 1 with a copper coil but thats it. I would like some more input on both, so I could get a better idea on which version would give me the results I want. Amp I have is an older Memphis 500D. Matt I'm also looking at the SoundSplinter rl-i10 if it matters any.

I was over on another forum and someone suggested the rl-i10. Gotta say thats a beefy looking 10". If I were to order 1 what size sealed box would be ideal for the best possible LOUD SOUND QUALITY? I would be giving it a good 500RMS of a Memphis 500D. On a side note how would this sub compare to a basic mainstream 12" sub? Matt
