Yeah, it's quite a shame. I got an RLP 12 5.5 years ago and love it. Wanted to get a 15 for my next vehicle, but there are none available. Mike was top-notch in assisting with questions, his subs are what led me to this forum.

Only problem I could see there is that may cause the tires to rub. It's probably pretty close as it is. Ride looks clean, though. Do you have any more pics? Also, what tires do you have on there? I agree, stance looks pretty nice as is for a daily driver.

I had a pair of those about 10 years ago and loved them. Good luck on the build.

The Walmart down the street sells Sony Bravia and Samsung LED tv's. I think those TV's are pretty nice. I own the CS60K's and I can tell you that they sound better than the JL XR's that they replaced. Walmart or no, these speakers are legit.

You can get 0gauge from weldingsupply.com, it's generally cheaper then any "car audio" wire and it's exactly the same, if not better. Where do you find this wire on this site? I just checked and the site is kind of a clusterf**k. Nevermind, found it. For anyone that goes to that site looking for wire, it is listed under welding cable.

L7's are pretty decent woofers. My cousin has ran them in 5 or 6 vehicles and they sound really nice with a properly tuned enclosure. Get a sheet of MDF and build a decent box before you give up on them. Unless you have an endless supply of cash, then move on to the next one.

That has largely been my impression as well. Retail investors have been pulling their money out of funds for a long time. I think until people get more confidence in the market, it's going to be dicey like this. I read on some message boards and it seems like everyday somebody is posting about their anticipation of that 1,000 point DOW drop in 1-2 days. Everybody is worried about it. That flash crash in May did a ton of psychological damage I think. I think it'll take a lot of time for people to regain trust, and chances are by then the market will have risen another 20%, be fairly valued, and they won't gain anything on their money or get in just in time for the next pullback. Average investors always get both in and out too late. 60-80% of all trades on S&P stocks are via HFT from proprietary trading desks. The market is far from fairly valued now and if it continues to push higher, it will crash just as violently as it did 2 years ago. It's hard to project future earnings, and company's earnings projections are rather rosey considering that the average consumer has no money to spend, banks have less money to lend and less people whom to lend to, and foreclosures keep skyrocketing slowing down construction and eliminating jobs. Unfortunately, I believe the market as a whole is going to be volatile like this for quite some time. Small traders can make some money, but it is like playing with fire depending on what you play, how much you play, how diversified you are and whether or not you are leveraging against your current holdings. I am not trying to discourage anyone from trading, but be careful and don't get greedy.

I play it a bit and monitor it more than anything. I work in Portfolio Risk Mitigation for a large brokerage house and I can't make heads or tails of the market right now. Everyday I am waiting for the catalyst to drop the Dow 1,500 to 2,000 points in a week's span. There doesn't appear to be a lot of genuine investor confidence at this point to keep pressing the market higher.

I'll have to snap some pics of my MTX 2300 and 4160 installed in my car and still running strong! I am the second owner on both amps and I have had these for a decade. Can't complain about the output of these amps. I think at this point I have certainly gotten my money's worth.

Crisp clear highs, thumping midbass, screaming mids. I have never heard a set of components in this price point that that play this loud and .clean. I would highly recommend. Thanks SSA for offering this sick pricing on these speakers. I was just thinking the same, Cory and I put a set of CS50K's in his civic just last night. Very nice. Thanks for your business! The real endorsement for these speakers can probably come from my wife. Yesterday she took the car to go drive to the race for the cure and came home and told me that the stereo sounds awesome! My wife does not have much of an ear for this stuff, and she even noticed the improvement over the JLs that I had in the car.

My JL XR tweeters finally gave out on me after 5 years of service and I am looking at upgrading to a 6.5" set of components from my current 5.25s. I am looking at the Bravox CS60K's on the group buy due to the phenomenal price and what appears to be some serious quality speakers. Does anyone know what the mounting depth is on the 6.5 mid? Also, does anyone have any feedback on this component set? Good punchy midbass, crisp clean highs? I have a good deal of power to send to them (MTX 4160, I know REAL old school) and an AudioControl EQS to clean up the sound.

would a MDF ring help out? I think I might be able to make it work. Going to use at least a 1/4" board for a trim plate, should get me to where I need. Are the CF's the same depth?

Anyone know the mounting depth on the CF mids?
