Chit, where were you to help when I took Quantum Physics.

    Hello all

    Welcome
  3. Of course the answer is yes, but it is also a bad idea. What subs are they?
  4. You sure you have it in the "off" position then???
  5. If it is just naturally floppy try and reinforce it or add mass to it anyway you can with metal. I am sure when you measure with a thermometer you are going to see well beyond the glue holding range.
  6. Why are you adding to low pass filters together? Do you need a 24dB slope at 63Hz? I'd just use the decks. Have you played a freq. sweep to see if there is a particular tone or range of tones that are causing the "punchy" sound? Knowing that would be helpful, maybe your box is fixable. Would like to say that I don't know crap about that Eclipse sub but your box would hold an Rlp nicely!

    Welcome to the IHoP

Aargh, my to do list just sort of turned into a post-college finals. I have a meeting with the city tomorrow to discuss a building variance on a property I hope to put in an offer tomorrow. If it is okay I have to finish all of the unfinished chit all over the house and would have to move soon. I hate moving!

    Small favor to ask

Mike, That is a huge improvement. You know I asked you a few questions that I wouldn't have if that was up first, and I am uber happy with my sub! The only thing I would change from a first fast (and a bit drunk) read would be to use a different term other than consensus. When I hear consensus I see some average joe idiot that is normal and your subs are far from normal. Saying that the average SQ car audio competitor or audiophile/wambat prefers know that is the truth. Since you are marketing towards people more in the know, I'd push it.

    Tweeter recomendations

Really depends on mounting. I have the 2904 Alpine knock-off and they sound great, but I really think if the world were perfect my M would have had a real logical spot to put a large format tweeter. If you have the room look that way. Also, in tweeters your preference of metal or softer fabrics really makes a difference.

    Welcome to the IHoP

If you go with Np I think you will be better off IB, unless you meant a pod for mounting only.
