  1. I've heard of people blocking off the rear cabin vents ( behind the vent caps) to gain loudness in the cabin anyone here dine it or does anyone know if it works because with my system turned up if you walk to the back you can here a farting noise coming out and also you can feel the air coming out

  2. Nice bike! I think motorcycles have the best performance to cost ratio.

Agreed, it takes a lot of car to take a bike (even a stock one), especially in twisties. :D Given that the person riding knows how to ride lol. A lot of anything comes down to rider/driver skill.

Makes me my r1 ... im actually thinking of getting another r1 for trackbike....nice bike man I've always liked that bike.....dunno if you know about it already but check out r6 forum...great forum as well as the r1 forum ..lots of good info and people on their...again nice bike

  3. PAC OS-3 non-bose is the one i need. i beleive.

I just checked the pac website and that is only for 07-08 silverado ...but it may work but according to their application chart the one a linked earlier is the one you need ..os-4... I think

    07 08 09 10 are all the same truck.

06 was different and early 07 gm calls 'classic'

That's exactly what i was thinking ..which I know they are but im just going by their word...like I said im just trying to look out for ya bro!

  4. Do you still want to be able to use your On Star?

    Andrew

According to op he uses it daily...but i would probably go ahead and spend the extra for the pac...seems that scosche is pretty similar for a good bit less money...I guess its cheaper for a reason from what reviews I read for mine...I just ordered a pac interface for my 05 yukon with onstar and bose

..and had to make the same decision ...sorry andrew if I would of known you were a dealer I would've hit you up

  5. What kind of car do you have? Redo your headunit grounding and any other grounding you did, just because it may look like a good ground it may not be? Did you get a new headunit with a higher pre-out voltage, if so turn your amp gain down some? Any whining 9 times out of 10 is a grounding problem if you ruled out amps, speaker, wiring and headunit itself?

Its a 05 yukon and the only ting I've changed is the headunit, and it does have stronger preamps, I can't adjust the gain because its the factory bose amp and speakers but I did try grounding it straight to the battery and completely bypassing the factory ground with 16 ga wire and its still there, I even unhooked all of the big 3 and reground it to a (seemingly) better spot, and that did nothing, if there is anything im missing let me know and ill check it.

  6. I thought it was only one until I started listening closer, im lost I've tore apart and re wired like 4 times and still have the same problem, I read somewhere else that it could be a sign of my alternator going out?... the guy that owned it before me had the same problem with double din kenwood, he just ignored it..but he had a different interface

  7. Ok so I got home ran ground from battery and still had the whine....im beginning to think that its definitely the metra interface because it is also is causing my warning systems to go crazy when its hooked up...un hook it and turn key off and back and its all good....also when the chimes go off for door it crackles and pops...im lost! The only other change I've made to truck is big 3 so far and if it did whine then I don't remember it...any ideas besides get another interface?
