He came back after I regrounded the amp and the noise was gone, showed him, and that pucker had the balls to say"You moved the RCA's to the other side of the car didn't you!" well from my auto class in high school, my teacher told me that oil companies advertised that you should change your oil every 3,000 miles, but it was only actually neccessary to change every 6,000. But you should really play it by ear. You should be checking your oil regularly to make sure its topped off, so you would be able to see how dirty it is. If you drive your car hard or in harsh conditions/enviornment, your oil is going to get dirty faster. Brown oil isnt bad, but once its black or close to it, its time to change. And with a mercedez benz that costs 40k+, i think a 10 dollar oil change more often than not is totally worth it, right? EDIT: the reason that auto companies advertise a 3,000 mile oil swap is to sell more oil

well if you consider "better" to be more power, then you would want to buy the btl with dual 2 ohm coils to wired in parallel down to 1 ohm. but to be honest, if you cant answer a question like that for yourself, im willing to bet you dont have electrical needed to support 2000 rms. you might want to do a little more research before you go ahead and buy that amp and sub. running 2000 rms for extended periods of time is going to require a high output alternator, a couple decent batteries, and 0 guage wire. and you really cant skimp out on buying electrical upgrades, or will fry your amp and possibly the sub. buying all that electrical equipment new might run you up to a 1000 bucks for 2000 rms. ive also heard alpine amps dont put out their rated power, but i cant say for sure. big systems cost big $$$

honda civic and race track should not be used in the same sentence lmao. you dont need a spoiler unless your doing 130-140+ mph. and im not going to give your japanese car the benefit of the doubt, i dont think your ricer runs that fast. and if it does go that fast, you should buy a real wing instead of rocking the stock spoiler. that little stock spoiler probably isnt doing you any good to begin with to be honest. EDIT: and to actually answer your question, if the wing itself just separated from your car, then that probably has nothing to do with the wing. its probably the bolt or bracket or w/e has it mounted on the car. so buying a higher quality wing probably wont solve your problem.

its hard to compare a new amp to a used one, because theres really no knowing how much wear and tare is on that used amp. if you were to compare them when they are both new, i would say roll with Audioque if budget is the main issue, and sundown if you want a quality, beefy ass board that will most likely last longer than the audioque.

If not then don't make such a worthless reply. well first of i was an audio installer. and have installed various amp and sub combo's. and have worked with alpine type-r subs installs the best install being two type-r 12 in a ported box and a kicker zx1500.1 in to a jeep cherokee dont get me wrong they got nice and loud but compared to my other install of two kicker cvx 12 in a ported box powered by a old school kicker kx1200.1 in a honda accord they seemed louder. to me the type r's are more compared to the kicker cvr's with the type r's being better, but not better than the cvx. So i dont knock alpine at all but comparing the type r to the cvx i would go with the cvx if ur going for spl. And for the person who said comin from the dude with almost everything kicker in his sig the reason why everything is kicker is because my old job had 70% off all kicker products so yeah i forgot to mention my kicker rca's and my kicker 1/0 amp wires and kicker fuse holder with the kicker 150amp fuse....any more reasons to hate? lol it doesnt matter why your running all kicker shit, the fact is that you ARE indeed running all kicker shit, so its pretty hard to think your not going to be a little biased towards the product that you listen to every day. and i would definitly call this hating by any means, id call it logic. you see a guy with all kicker shit in his signature, claiming the cvx dominates the type r with no decent explanation or any kind of questions about what kind of car or how much space available, etc., in the car of the person who asked the question. and you cant compare the type r's in a cherokee over cvx's in an accord, the accord is smaller and is going to have more cabin gain! for all we know you could have been burping 50hz tones in the accord and playing music in the cherokee, too, because you didnt even specify.

If it's true, they aren't real optima batteries... i swear they were only 80 or 90. they had the yellow, red and blue top on a display next to the normal batteries and i was thinking fuck why doesnt everyone just buy an optima over a normal battery. ill go look tomorrow or something. maybe i was high.
