  1. 1. Product: 2 Fi SP4 18s with Carbon Fiber Dust Caps 2. Specs: Both are dual 1 ohm (0.7 ohm) 3. Description/Condition: Ran them for a little under a year on low power (Audioque 2200). Magnets have some scratches but the surrounds, baskets, spiders, and coils are in excellent condition. Does not include the original gaskets. A couple of the pictures are next to a 10" Kicker "Competition" (lol) for size comparison. I threw out the original boxes some time ago, but Fi was nice enough to send me two brand new boxes to ship them in. So these will ship in original Fi packaging. 7/10 Cosmetically 10/10 Mechanically 4. Price: Asking $900 SHIPPED OBO for the pair. Because they are dual 1 ohm, I would like to keep them as a pair. NO TRADES, just trying to get rid of all my stuff. I'm located in Huntsville, AL 35810. Would be willing to drive to meet someone within reason. 5. Pictures:

    FS: 12" BTL UFO D2

12" Fi BTL UFO D2 Item(s) for Sale: 12" Fi BTL UFO Dual 2 ohm Item(s) Description/Condition: -pie slug style Fi UFO motor -12" 12 spoke aluminum frame painted hammered gray -PSI recone rated for 3k RMS -triple sewn leads -quad spiders -Longer coil to mimic Fi's HiXmax coil. Good for daily. Uses .25" spacers to accommodate coil length. -HD pulp cone -High roll surround This sub has been nothing but great to me. Can't say enough about it. Sadly I have just sold my amp and made a bunch of space in my trunk for a lot more business. ( (2) 12"s ) This 12" can do it all..handled my MMATS m3000.1 with ease, hit the lows, and was great for a daily woofer. Has always been on a good supporting electrical cast. I am pulling the sub tomorrow because I'll be pulling my amp as well. Can take more pictures for people with more interest then. Recone has a date of 9/xx/14 and actually didn't use it for about 4 weeks it was installed because I had to wait on a warranty claim on a battery. There is a bit of a glue splotch on the top plate, but no biggie, just CA. bottom of motor looks mint. Minimal chips in ferrite. Included is the motor boot and 12" gasket. Price: 275$ plus shipping Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information: Ask me for a shipping quote Will be using UPS. US 48 only.

    FS: Fi Sp4 15 D2 $425

I have for sale a used Fi Sp4 15". It has the cooling option, and space spider as well. It is a d2 and with a carbon cap. I ordered this sub directly from Fi on November 15, 2013 and recieved it around early December. Mechcanically: 10/10 Physically: 9/10 I would prefer local pick up only, I am willing to drive any where within an hour distance from where I live if serious. The box does come with the sub also. The subwoofer has been powered by an aq2200, ct2500.1, and a ct1400.1 without any issues. The price is somewhat flexible.
  4. Item: Fi Sp4 motor and 15" Ti basket I got this in a trade for an Fi BL, but I won't be able to fit a 15" in my car unless I build a sealed trunk wall. As fun as it sounded, it wouldn't get under way until spring time so I'm selling to get an alternator. Basket will be included in auction and still has terminals on it. Conditon: 9/10 Glue joints are clean; no chips or gashes out of the motor. Back plate was few scratches and over all is in good condition. Price: 250+ shipping to US 50 only please; entertain me with trade offers, but cash is king. Shipping: Item will be properly packed and insured using UPS as carrier. Pictures:

    Fi Sp4 12"

Can you make them? Pretty please? With sugar on top?
  6. I have been having trouble trying to understand on how to make a box design, so I was just going to see if anyone here could help me. I know that when some one asks this question they tend to leave out important information when needing help so I'm going to give you all the info I can, and please tell me if I am missing anything. Trunk dimentions(MAX): 17" Tall, 35" Wide, and 20" Depth Subwoofer: Fi Sp4 15" Loaded D2 ohm sub wired to 1 ohm Amp: Audioque2200D Wire: All Sky High Car Audio Cable Alt: Stock 180 amp Batteries: Xs Power D4700 hood & future Xs D1200 trunk It'll go in the trunk of a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. I've tried using Torres Box calc and google sketch up and so far I've had no luck. So any info, input, or any help in general would be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys!

    Fi Sp4 15" on 3k. enclosure?

So I'll be running my SSA Zcon 12" on 3k for now until I get around to purchasing a recone for an sp4 motor I got in a trade. My problem is..I have a trunk car and limitations on box sizes. Depth and height are a problem for me. I have come to the conclusion that the biggest I can fit is an L port enclosure about 3.9-4 cubes. If I give it about 4 inches of port and still have net, will this enclosure server well to the sp4? I'll be running 3k @ the sp4. If not recommend what you all have experimented with.
  8. New thread for the new build, The quest for insanity continues. I wont build this one for numbers either but will be active at Meca meets and just having fun. The goal here is to be very loud, low and sound good doing it. I'm hoping for 154's but want to do it peaking low, I would like 152's+ around 30hz, but main goal is to sound good, this will not be a burp box. Updated Equipment List for this build Power / Electrical Mechman 370amp alternator, over 200amps at idle.... props to Mechman Adjustable voltage regulator set at 14.7v 4 XS D3400's, 2 XP3000's (may change that up some) 4 runs of power, 2 runs of ground to back batteries wiring is Knu ofc 1/0 and also a lot of Coleman 2/0 ofc stage cable Head Unit Pioneer deh80-prs (running active) Mids and Highs Alpine PDX 4.150 on mids, Digital Designs SS2 on highs 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch Pro 6.5's 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch Pro 8's 2 Crescendo FT1 super tweeters, may add 2 more Subs, box and sub amps 2 Crescendo BC 5500's strapped at 1.5 3 FI SP4 18's, dual 1, cooling, spaced spiders, loaded The wall will be completely double walled 3/4in 13 ply Russian Baltic Birch with 1/2in all thread bracing 19.5cu tuned to 31-33hz with 250-300sqin of port Today I picked up SEVEN 5x5 sheets of Birch (420lbs worth) and will start making cuts maybe this weekend. I wanted to get the thread up so when I takes picks I can just add as I go. The best part is I can build this in my garage and slide box in when done, add the front beauty panel, seal the edges and done. I will be removing the bed of the truck to run all thread through the box and cab to secure it. Dont need a 600lbs projectile behind me. haha

    HELP on system

Hey guys, i had some concerns about my future system. I'm planning to get an FI SP4 18, AQ3500.1D, and a high output alternator 200@idle and 375 max in the very near future. I can't wait to get it, but now I've ran into another problem. My powerbass oem replacement components and coaxials just aren't going to cut it. I'm planning on running 3000rms to the sub. About how much power would i need in some new tweeters and components, etc., to even out the sound? I don't want to hear JUST bass, i would like some nice highs and mids to come close to match it. Any power, speaker, amp, etc., suggestions would be appreciated.
