2. Well, here are the components to the dream build. Just finished the last one up last night. (2) RE XXX 12" OEM coil 1 stiff, 1 soft spiders Original full face dust caps Amps MMATS HD4000.1 MMATS SQ4100 Speakers: (2) Sets of Infinity Kappa 6.5 components Electrical: Singer 250A 3 runs 2/0 Duralast platinum(front) (still needing rear batteries) Vehicle: '04 Pontiac Grand prix Enclosure talk: I have experience with this driver in different sizes, and had always had good results with the enclosures for them. Haven't done a multiple woofer set-up for almost a decade, but this is what I was thinking.. 4.5 cu. ft. L port, double baffle, window bracing, 45s Going to start with subs back port back, and if I want to I will flip the box around and seal a trunk wall. Anyone with experience with these drivers want to chime in? I'm thinking with the power I had I would want to keep air space around 2 cubes each. Would also contemplate center port, but would change up bracing a bit. Gotta wait for the weather to break to get this built! Now for the photo shoot...
3. Item(s) for Sale: (2) 12" RE XXX 04-05 XBL^2 woofers D2's Item(s) Description/Condition: 1600 RMS, XBL^2 technology -Both subs contain: 04-05 RE XXX motors, black 12 spoke aluminum baskets, OEM coil, PSI built recones - 1 stiff spider, 1 soft, dual sewn leads, 8 gauge direct connect leads, post 06 XXX dust caps Sub #1 condition: There is a tiny hole in surround from a drill slip. I fixed it up with goop, so you can peel it off and fix to your preference if need be. With gasket on you can barely notice the patch job or see the rip. Motor structure is nearly mint condition. No chips in ferrite, and top plate and bottom plates have minimal scratches. All other aspects are new condition. Sub has SHCA OFC 8 gauge direct leads. Sub #2 Conditon Surround is good condition. There is a small chip in ferrite from when I got the motor shipped to me. (pictured) Other than that the top plate / bottom plate are in good condition. There is a bit of residue from gorilla tape on the surround. Not visible with gasket. Sub #2 Has XS power OFC 8 gauge direct connect leads OEM coils read out at 2.3-2.4 since day one. Pictured are all of the coils readings, as well as the surrounds, imperfections, and beauty. If you have any questions or need any more pictures let me know. I really don't want to sell these, but since they are out of my car and thinking of the pain of putting them back in, I am putting them up for sale. Bills are starting to pile up and I have (2) Fi Q motors sitting here that can hold me over. On top of that, my box is a little bit big for the power I am giving these and the Qs would suit me better. Awesome subs. I will dance with them again some day.. I know the pictures are not the best, I still have a Droid 2 >< Price: 700 plus shipping to US 48 only PM me for shipping price. Local pickup is available. Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information: Will be shipped and insured via UPS. I have other references via FB, ebay, and ****. Please don't be afraid for me to cite them.

RE Audio is a making a comeback in 2015!
7. SSA I am looking for a 4 channel amplifier to power a pair of components so that I can add rear deck speaker or go active at a later time. The two main amps I am looking at are the SKAR Audio LP-80.4 and RE Audio USX-4250. Is there any knowledge of if these amps put out what they are rated at in clean power? Are there better amps for around $175? Thanks, hayestc

RE XXX v3 sexiness

Bought this motor in the winter and now its a finished project. Fi BL 15 next to the XXX motor with a 15" basket This was how I bought it to find the spiders were off the landing; I glued them back down and ran some power to it via free air to find that there was mad coil rub =[ Finished with an Fi recone and doing some testing; Its now a 15" in 3.9 cu. ft. tuned in lower 34

PLEASE HELP!

So I reciently purchased a sundown SAZ-2500d v.2 form SSA and am a little stumped on wiring. I will be running a RE Audio xxx 15'' dual 2 ohm at 1 ohm. The amp has two positive and two nagative inputs, can I use both? Want to get the best power out of this as possable.
10. I'm currently in the process of reconing a 2004 RE XXX v3 15" woofer and haven't made the enclosure yet. I'm planning on building a 3.43 cu. ft sealed enclosure to house this monster, as my goal is more on the ""SQL"" side. The sub's displacement is .21 I've come to a design and have my cut sheets marked and ready to go, but I wanted to see if anyone could provide some input on if I should brace this box with a horizontal or vertical support? Does the enclosure absorb and vibrate this much with that back pressure to where I should brace the box? If so, what materials should I go about using? a piece of wood is fine? The box will have a double baffel, and be receiving about 1400-1600 wrms. I never actually found enclosure recommendations for this driver, but I am open to suggestions. I've only researched successful enclosure designs done by people in the past. Another question is polyfill..Should I use a lb or so to fool the sub into thinking its in a bigger enclosure? Please educate me. Keep in mind another reason Here's a link that helped me decide on an enclosure design: http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/member-reviews-product-comparisons/109015-2005-re-audio-xxx-15-review.html Keep in mind, I would go ported if I could, but I dont have enough space in my trunk. I have max like 3.8 cubic ft for a ported.

Re XXX v3 recone

Hey guys, First of all Happy new year to everyone @ Fi Car Audio. It was a great year with your products and hope it was a great year in sales for you. Down to business, I have aquired an RE XXX v3 motor from a craigslist sale. (paid 150 for it) Its spiders were off of the landing and luckily no one who had the sub knew that was the problem, Hopefully I can glue them down and the coil didn't rub too much. I see you guys have a recone option for RE 3x, guessing thats the xxx you just cant use the name for copyright purposes. It says that the recones are good for 2005 models and up, but I have a XXX motor that uses XBL^2 technology (I think its 2006 model). Im guessing that recone is a little different perhaps more pricey, but I was wondering if you can make one for me since I have not yet gone through psi for any recones. I love your craftsmanship and quality in the products you use in your drop in recones and was just wondering if I can get it through you guys. I was j/w because I thought the xbl2 technology recone would be considerably different than the newer coil designs. Thanks guys If anyone wants to chime in and tell me a little about these motors and the way they sound please do! this is my first time dealing with this kind of motor. this technology originated through adire audio correct?
