Any info on box specs?

Recommended Posts

Ill try to get some up later today. Nothing magical about them... fairly standard middle of the road enclosure requirements.

Thanks,

Scott

I'm trying to get 2 12" subs with great SQ and good SPL that work in a small sealed enclosure. Are the arsenals right for me?

any general ideas yet ?

Scott mentioned earlier that they will be in the range of standard box sizes, nothing out of the ordinary or weird.

I think Fi's recommended enclosures for the SSD and Q will give you a better idea of what the recommended range for enclosures.

But I am just guessing.

Assassin

8" .5-.8 @ 33Hz

10" .8-1.25 @ 33Hz

12" 1.75-2.5 @ 33Hz

While they will work sealed, they are not always optimal for f3 and Qtc.

Arsenal

10" .8-1.25 @ 33Hz .25-.5 sealed

12" 1.75-2.5 @ 33Hz .75-1.25 sealed

15" 3-5 @ 28-33Hz 2-IB sealed

Havoc

12" 1.5-2.5 @ 28-33Hz .6-1.2 sealed

15" 3-5 @ 28-33Hz 1.5-3 sealed

18" 6-10 @ 28-33Hz 4-IB sealed

These are just general recommendations. Tunings can be pushed up or down depending on application/listen preference.

Thanks,

Scott

Do you hear that?

I think two 18" Havocs are calling my name! Now comes the time to measure up to see how feasible TWO will be.

12" Havoc:

12.500" OD

11.125" cut ID

Magnets are 7.500" OD

Overall depth is slightly below 6.750"

Thanks,

Scott
