Remember that 323 I got for free?

Well, since gas prices are so high, I've been shitbagging that thing around. 450km/tank vs 200 km/tank ... sooo it's much more economical right now. Not a bad little car.

Two Shiva's? Nope.

I can't do anymore because I don't have the sub to make a mounting ring.

Sad thing is, it's gonna take a few weeks to get here. I'd just rather get this out of the way right now so I don't have to waste time doing it later.

Talk about a pain in the ass trying to get it out of there.

mrray ... use LOTS OF VASELINE on the tape before you lay the fiberglass.

Yeppers, any mold release agent will work. Cooking spray, too.

What subs are going in? Please tell me that you are cutting the rings with something other than a jig saw, please... If a jigsaw is all you have, and I find that hard to believe, let me know what size you need and I'll cut them for you and round the top edge if you want and send them up your way.

I have a jigsaw. Buuuuuuut I also have a router

Sub isn't in yet. Should be here in ... around 2 weeks. Single 15". I don't know the measurements. It'll be inverted, that's all I know. So no prefab'd mounting ring measurements.

Still might take you up on that offer since I'll be in and out of town for the next month and a half. First thing first though ... damn thing has to get here.

Bah. Make the damn ring! It's not some weird-ass sized sub, or just ask Joshy for the dimensions of it. Have the enclosure done by the time the sub gets there so that you can just plug her in and go! No excuses! :soap:

Doesn't matter ... last time I checked, you need to be able to power it with something.

Still need an amp. 1000-1400ish @ 1ohm for cheap would be real nice. If I found it in Canada, that's 100% better. Chances of finding it here, 3%.

JBL powervalve BP1200.1 maybe? I got mine for less than 230 shipped and tested it to 1405wrms @ 1 or 2 ohm @ 14v.

Blown up my fair share of those ...

Must be reliable. But shit, $230 is a damn good price.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.
