It is a nice driver and is darn happy in Mike's recommended boxes. What else are you looking for?

What are your box plans and power for the pair?

not to sure bout the box but i will be using a sundown 1500d or maybe 2 sundown 1500d strapped

you got any ideas for a box? let me know if you do..

Hahaha i dunno right now i got 2 rli-8's d4 so a 1ohm final load running on a sundown 1500d. I hit a 144.6db @ 49hz car sealed, mic on the dash,

car running with these 2-8". So just maybe and definitely possible for these rli-10 can and will handle a sundown 1500d @ 1ohm and maybe even handle 2 sundown 1500d strapped.

I'm sure the pair could handle a single 1500D (that's my set up too), but a 1500D on each one will be really pushing it

1. are the SAEs strappable?

2. you may be able to run a 1000D per if you're careful and everything is set up properly

a 1000D per coil would toast 'em even faster than a 1500D per sub

Mike's recommendations are usually good

Since you seem pretty intent on SPL, I'd probably recommend another driver...

Look at the video on roe again.

And here is the comment.

"This is a pair of SoundSplinter Rl-I 8s on a single US Amps MD.3D in my CRX getting about 2000W right up ‘till they die. All in all, I almost broke 150dB :-)"
