hey guys the more i look at this lil thing the more i feel i want it..so i was wondering for component use..how does this speaker sound? also i was thinking of paring them with some tweeters and maybe a 4'' driver to make my own 3 ways sets..would this not be a good idea sound wise?

In my application they are midbass monsters. These will be great for a 3-way and even a 2-way with a tweet that'll handle a low enough crossover point. I guarantee you if you buy them, it will be one of your best audio purchases.

Notice how it says good for 2-way systems? It won't function really well as a midbass unit.

Typically you want the driver size spacing a little further apart in a 3-way. 7-8" midbass, 3-4" midrange 1-2" tweet.

There are exceptions to the rule, but those are generalizations.

i was looking up tweeter and they are up to from $1200 to $30..lol whats a good set to go with..i dont want anything really harsh..

For how they perform, I think it's a very good price.

People would want sales even if the item is for free :(
