Young's Double Chocolate Stout fing05.gif

I like Molson Canadian Lager for a good, cheap 6 pack once and awhile.

Otherwise, I keep it local...Summit or Viking...both non-pasteurized.

I highly suggest Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA.

If you can get a hold of their 120 minute IPA, you will never forget it!

From where?

Try this link M5,

http://www.dogfish.com/

There are a few places around here that carry it.

I'll be drinking them fresh from the taps in Germany in less than 48 hours. :)

You drive to cheeseland to buy beer? Or do you know something that I don't about where to buy Viking?

Yes, but not regularly. The farm where I buy all my illegal dairy actually stocks their full line.

They used to sell at a number of TC LQ's but they don't anymore because of the licensing fees.

They make a cayanne pepper chocolate stout that's pretty interesting.

Real beer has a nice layer of sediment on the bottom of the bottle. ;) hehe...

I have fallen in love with a dark beer called bender, it's made by surly and from here in MN. Brooklyn park I beleive. Amazing. It comes in cans which I was skeptical at first, but if you pour into a glass... Wonderfull.

Yep, those Surly cans are deceiving at first. But crack 'em and pour 'em and they are fine.

Anyone happen to notice what some bars are doing with Guinness? For joints that don't have it on tap, they've replaced the widget cans with a plain old can called the Surger. The crack the can, pour it and then put it on an electrical plate (the Surger) that creates the classic cascading head effect. Weeeee fun! http://www.guinness.com/us_en/surger/

I had a 'surged' guinny once. It was nasty, it didn't do what they say it does on the website. Maybe the bartender did it wrong.

Yay for real dairy. :) My w is from a dairy farm, but it is near Sauk Center and a bit far to drive for milk.

The Surly is good. Surprising since it is from BP too.

Check out what happens when we put a Killians on the surger.
