what is the blue ring for?

the W7 has an aluminum ring that snaps on after the screws are in...in order to

countersink the W7 room is needed to put the ring in place..the blue ring adds

some color and fills in the gap

I liek it just really different. Any reason for what looks like empty space on the sides of the enclosure?

he wanted the box to fit snug between the shock towers...the ends can be used

to put caps,amps and what not..or just a place to hide beer
