Enclosure Designs & Fisher Customs

Recommended Posts

Designs are now able to be purchased directly through FisherCustoms.com/store for $12 a piece. Between Chris and I, we are updating the store with the majority of the designs he has done over the years (and its more than just a few). This will take a lot of time to get everything up and running, but I feel, when its all said and done, can be very beneficial to the customer.

The enclosure designs range anywhere from a simple sealed box, to flared port boxes with plexiglass windows, and beyond. Each design is displayed a simple, easy to view and understand format (SketchUp). All the layouts are pretty straight forward.

The customer can find a design that will fit their needs, and just purchase the plans. This will mainly benefit the customer looking to build their own enclosure, and will reassure them that they are getting an accurate box design. However, they can also have Fisher Customs do the fabrication. The benefit to purchasing the plans this way will cut down on design time, as well as save a little money.

Of course, Chris will still tackle any other custom designs, for the $25 design fee.

I only have a few up so far, but check it out, and give us a little feedback. It sure will be appreciated.

Thanks guys,

B.J. Fisher

Im pretty excited to see how this goes. I have pretty high expectations for this, as I can see it becoming pretty popular and helping a lot of people out. We will just have to wait and see.

actaully, this is a good idea. your customer just need to know what they want and give u dimensions. it took me like 4 days to figure out what would work properly for my subs(had to do some more research and take into account the space i had with how i wanted it to look). and then i did a little quick plan and then i began to cut lol.

good luck

34 cubes! :faintthud:

That's the one I e-mailed you about and you directed me to Chris. It's going to house 4 18's. After he's done with the drawing I'll let you have a look at it and give me a bid. Then I'll decide wether to build it myself or let you tackle it. It'll make an interesting build either way.

Where should I post a request for a design?

I am basically looking to do Model: 4.0@35Hz_12 pair but with 3 changes.

1. Bump the width to 40"

2. Tune to 32Hz

3. Counter sink the subs into the baffle

The subs are the AA Havoc 12". I can provide the tech data if needed.

What price range am I looking at for plans?

Thanks for you time and effort.

Chris

Plans run $25, and you can simply shoot an email to Dylan @ Fishercustoms . com to get a design made up.

I can't thank you guys enough for the speedy response and the sick box you popped out for me. I only hope I can build it and do justice to the design. :) I am going to try and work on it tomorrow. Is it ok to post build pics here or would you rather I didn't?

Feel free to post up pics in the Fisher Customs section. Not a problem with me.
