My new Challenger!

Recommended Posts

Very nice car you got there :D
I'd never buy any car in manual

Heretic. Gather the torches !

They've already tried that, seems I'm impervious to fire

Very attractive car, but surprised, the interior looks lifted straight out of a Magnum and also surprised to see someone buy such a car in automatic.

I may be wrong, but i don't think they are offering manual tranny until next year. Car looks great! any plans for a stereo build? I think that is the only car they went for the retro styling on that they actually got right.

Idkk... I think the rear looks pretty naked without something back there. Anyways it is just a 3.5 (hence the automatic) if I could of afforded an R/T, trust me it would of been stick lol... I do wish the 3.5 came in stick tho, the interior feels like it was designed for one.

ah, so the '09s are out already?

Yeah no manuals on first year models

no 5.7s or 3.5s either

I agree that the wing will look good. Of course, I think they should design a Daytona conversion. I wonder what that wing would look like. :) Those rims on the Hemi Super Truck would look smokin' hot on that car.

19 years old? How much did you put yourself in debt...

A pre-ordered SE won't break the bank.

Anyways it is just a 3.5

All the more reason to NOT put rims or a spoiler on it.

mray can you stop saying wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer: lol

nope. been typing it since 2001 or 2. can't stop now, lol.

if the wheel wells are anything like the charger/magnum, it'll beg for 20s. 18s would work. old school rally wheel would be pimp. and that wing you're looking at isn't bad, but looks better without.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

Nice ride. Forget the wing as others have suggested. You don't need the down force or increased drag and with the wing being black, on a black car, it would be hard to notice anyways.

Put like 35% of the MSRP down on the car, payments aren't that bad at all.

I think you guys will change your mind once the spoiler is actually on the car.

That thing needs to be lowered 1"-2" max. I'd keep the rims. No spoiler. And *laughs*, dual exhaust on a 3.5L V6 is going to sound like crap.

If you do want dual pipes, make sure you use some thing like a Flowmaster 80 series in front of the Y pipe. Split it to two pipes and call it a day. That'll give you the rumble you want.

Yea I am doing research on the exhaust, may take a while. I'm actually looking at the Eibach lowering kit now lol.

I don't know if anyone has put clips of them up on youtube yet, but when I was researching Exhausts and mufflers for my 4.0L Tacoma, I spent a lot of time on there listening to videos.

That Flowmaster 80 series sounds GREAT on my V6.

v8 town car, wt a single exhaust cherry bomb....cats still on, isn't ridiculously loud but still makes it sound beefy, take the cats off it would sound like a truck

I like the spoiler too, lol. My neighbor has a black SRT with a spoiler, looks nice. It changed his exhaust out, cant remember to which one though, but put in some electronic cutouts, and wow....those make it SUPER loud and dirty, lol.

Nice car man!!!!

I gott be #11 here and say no spoiler.

To me with the rims, exhust and lowering...........just too much. Keep the spoiler off and ur good to go.

Also have you done any testing on its acceleration?

I want to bump and see if anyone wants to see what the 6.1 liter R/T edition looks like with little wing.

It looks ALOT better in person than you might think.
