Where are you studying?

Bloomsburg University,link

site is ridiculously hard to navigate so here is the link to the school of science and tech and to the physics and engineering tech department if your interested.

The "Research" links were empty. Thought maybe I'd find something there.

We have a couple grads from Bloomsburg.

sorry to hear that :lol2:

The good news is that you picked music that is easy to play :) Mostly 3 chord songs with an quick interlude of something else or a quick scale in the middle. Really nailing down progressions of chord changes and some scales will solve that. In particular those songs will all done with "power" chords. Called that way because they require way less fingerings and slide evenly up the whole neck of the guitar if you want to change keys. That is the beauty of rock and roll though as it is in general super easy to play compared to other genre's.

Some lessons early on in particular from a classsical guitarist would be useful to make sure that you don't develop bad habits.

Other than that I would shop for books and see what you find. I'd be glad to look at anything and help you narrow it down. I started with more guitar specific classical and less technique related pieces which for your needs I wouldn't encourage otherwise I could just dig around and tell you waht I have.

sounds great, i gotta get to work so ill do some digging around later and let you know

Sean and Tom can attest to the fact I'm not the most round fella in the room.

We are similar.

I need at least 4.5

4-6 is ideal for me. any more or less and im cranky. prefer 6. went about 3 months w/ 2hrs a night back after my mom died and it screwed with my brain chemistry. made me a little crazy for a while, that mixed with depression is not a good combination.

I'm somewhat on the portly side. However, I've been losing weight recently, not really doing anything specifically to lose it so it has me somewhat concerned since Cancer runs in my family. Dropped from 290 to 270 in the last month w/ no exercise or change of eating habits. Going to a doctor after the new yr to get checked out.

It's not if but when.

It's a good thing I can run fairly well and have lots of gunz and ammo!

I would be a mega meal. Last time when my issue flared up I tipped the scale at 440
