That's what I'm thinking. Generally they already do a quick review when the class starts out as well.

Physics 110 was a bitch where I went to school. Started out with 160 Physics majors. After 110 we had 30, after 128 (next class) we had 13. Graduated 1 of 11.Of course, over 95% of campus were National Merit Scholars so it wasn't a "normal" school

Speaking of Physics, you didn't question my equations. Did my answer satisfy the question?

Interesting, I can quote in a new window/tab, delete the text and replace it with a post and it works.

I'm sure advanced physics will be difficult, but the intro / basic shouldn't be bad.

I still haven't decided the what the hell I'm majoring in, just finishing the rest of gen eds, taking more math, and starting physics science stuff. Since I know I want to do something in the science / engineering realm, I figure I can't get enough math. laugh.png

The standing waves can effect volume by causing a change in pressure and temperature? tongue.png

Pressure from anti-nodes, and temperature change from friction?

Depending on the frequency and amplitude, the heat transfer can also shift from natural convection to forced convection. Correctomundo?

Sleepy time.

Got a big day tomorrow. Sleep in to 8:00, eat breakfast, finish some fiberglass, eat some more, take a nap, and maybe see a movie.

holy shit blink.png

i dont know the exact statistics of our department but we tend to graduate ~5-10 physics majors a year. That doesn't count the students who do a 3+2 engineering degree at Pennstate (who receive a BA in physics from my school along with their engineering degree from PSU). Roughly the same number of students graduate with either a Health Physics or EET degree. Then perhaps 1 or 2 physics ed majors graduate a year.

I would have graduated this semester but decided to hold off untill the fall... couldn't decide what to do about grad school.

After working with fiberglass everyday, I like to think of myself as him.

Oh and wtf:

I have a steep slope between the sub and ex-anarchies, at 80hz, and still I get them extending too far at times. When I raised the subwoofer level (not bass level) on the ms8, it still increased the amplitude going to the ex-anarchies. So I did a little eq, raised the gain on the sub amp, and lowered the subwoofer level on the ms8. Seems to work better now.

Then I have a 18db slope between the ex-anarchies and L4.

Once I get the tweets back in I'll have to try some more combos. laugh.png

Don't assume you should use the same slope on the HP and LP between the anarchies and L4's. Regularly mixed slopes can win.

Them over priced? NOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I guess that is why there is always 1/2 price sales on DIYma.

Instead of apologizing for calling a woman a "slut" and a "prostitute" for wanting easier access to contraception, Rush Limbaugh doubled-down today and said that all women who use birth control should make sex tapes so he can watch them

Doesn't help that Rush was in possesion of Viagra that he didn't have a prescription for when he was arrested in the Dominican Republic for soliciting hookers.

It looks like Fox News’ favorite Arizona “border expert,” Sheriff Paul Babeu has some ‘splaining to do. If reporting in the Phoenix New Times is correct, it turns out this anti-immigration sheriff-turned-Congressional-candidate had an affair with a Mexican man Babeu has threatened to deport.

Generically speaking I much prefer shallower slopes.  Specifically speaking nothing general ever holds water.  My expectation with the separatoin between the mid and tweeter though is that it will surely help blending.  May have some negative affects to the stage height, but IMO frequency response ALWAYS should win over staging....just another reason SQ competitions are regularly ridiculously stupid.

Generally speaking, all blanket statements are false, but the fact is the previous statement is a blanket statement. O_o
