Adrian, do yourself a favor and use several layers of clear coat, then wet sand and buff it. It'll look like glass in comparison to just shooting the black and color sanding. It'll also be more durable.

Wouldn't the clear coat give it even more gloss ? Trying to keep it flat.

Sorry, I missed that point. They do make satin clear coats now, but I don't know what you have access to over there.
