Should I ground my amp directly to the battery or it's a waste of wire and grounding to the chassis works as good?

SAZ-1500D

Do you have a battery in the rear that's near the amplifier? If so, I would just ground to that, and the battery is grounded to the frame.

If your talking about running a ground wire from your negative terminal on your starting battery ALL the way to the back to the amp, that's just a waste. (assuming your car has decent grounding points in the engine bay, which it should)

No battery in the back. And yes, I was talking about running it all the way to the front.

I'll also be doing the big 3.

Went camping for a night, spur of the moment.

Camped right off a ledge,

Hiked down looking up to the ledge,

Pretty much just carried all our shit hiking across the forest for thirty minutes til we found that spot.

Awesome!! I'm jealous.

Also did some climbing around:

Managed to pry some large sticks under a massive boulder and roll it off the side of a cliff, it was awesome.

I'm sure some super nature lovers wouldn't approve but it was in the middle of no-where and it landed on some dead fallen trees. :rofl2:

Then I wouldn't bother, traditional positive power line and grounding cable to frame (short as possible) will work fine.

Look for the grounding wires from the engine to the frame, they may be exposed braided steel wire. Just add additional wire at those points.

Add another cable from chassis to negative battery terminal.

Then lastly, cable from output stud on alternator to positive terminal on battery (fused). <--When you do this one, make sure you have the negative battery terminal disconnected.

Hope that helps.

Of those three, I need to figure out if the 203's are enough, or if the 555's are worth the price over the 515's, or even the 448's of ebay for a good price.

I had the 515s before I got these Behringers. They are a little more comfortable, but IMO, not worth $60.

Hum, and no noticeable difference in clarity? The 448's are at the top of the list at the moment.

I have shitty hearing, but the only difference I can tell is some extra low end in the Behringers.

That's almost not hideous.

It's attractively ugly.

Always find it funny when the Yankees beat the Orioles, it is headline news on ESPN, but when it is the other way around, even a walk-off, the coverage is no where to be found.

Nobody gives a damn about the O's. :peepwall:

Why put a fuse there... I have no intentions of crashing any time soon(implying if you crash and metal goes through the wire the fuse will blow so it won't short). :)

Learned that there's an 85% chance that my 35 year old uncle has ALS. They won't know for sure until he sees a specialist, but we hope it's not hereditary since he just has his first daughter 15 months ago. :(

shit, sorry to hear that.

FCUK. Been on a conference call pretty much since 7am and have a break for 2 hours and then another for an hour. YUCK

Atleast they can not see you do this :P and this

and got stood up by Japan. New call in an hour.

They were busy playing pachiko.

What an annoying sound that is. Pachiko parlours have to be the single most disgusting places to go into in the world. Can't imagine being on a hallucinogen and having to deal with it. Holy crap loud and obnoxious

And they are next to the Red Light areas.

Train stations as well. I only know of one "pink district" and its hilarious

Did you ever get to look down into the mirror?

<-confused

The pimps hold a mirror so you can look up the skirts.

These AKG cans rock. I can't wait to get an amp. I'm listening to kodo right now and the range is something I haven't heard in phones before. My in ear handles bass much louder and deeper but it doesn't sound as natural. It's also so much easier on my ears than the ultra high frequency from in ear. It's just more...."natural".

I'm going to have to put a kodo cd on ot test out the logans... I bet they will do awesome.

Anyone know of a good calendar software for the computer, that can also sync with droid x (android)?

I tried the google calendar but it's very unreliable, I would make an event and save it, shows up on date, close browser, come back to it and it's magically gone, not to mention some other known bugs... I cannot have this.

Anyone got any other good ones?
