So umm, what happens if you hook up Power to Power Ground to Power and Remote to Ground on an amp????

Stupid old amp not having the remote wire in the center. I heard a pop and saw a little smoke. Immediately disconnected it and made it right then turn on a song from my ipod for a few seconds (since thats all the damn battery will last) and I got some niose out of it. I say noise because I only had the new 6.5" Subs hooked up free air.
