I wouldn't personally make cabinets for my garage unless I had a lot of free time. I'd just venture down to a habitat for humanity place and buy some nice donated cabinets.

Habitat for humanity has cabinets? News to me.

All depends on the day, they get EVERYTHING...

Got back yesterday from three days on the road in the field. The first day went fine, felt good after that one. But then the second day was a bummer. landowner had pushed around dirt so we couldn't get to where we wanted to sample, so we had to improvise and take fairly non-representative samples. Then one sample that should have taken 20 minutes took an hour and 40 minutes because of a 50-foot down-hole problem. So we're already two hours over my scheduled time for the site and I go to Dillons to ship my samples to the lab. Only their printer for the shipping label breaks, and I stand there for......wait for it.......45 minutes, as they try to fix it. That is a long time to be standing at the customer service counter in a grocery store. And even at the end they said you can just go and we'll let you know when we get this figured out and ship it for you. Yeah, you better. Then the groundwater at our site yesterday was just dumbfounding. It was so erratic and made no sense. Ended up taking an extra 2-3 hours at that site.

But now I can relax. I have today off, so I get a 4 day weekend.

Some older Integra's in town for much less, but only composite video switching which I suppose works

I have a 3 y/o integra 6.5(I think) in my basement.

I use the Z7 in my HT. I havent even scratched its capabilities and I love the unit.

Anyone use the Audeysey Dynamic EQ for neutralizing commercial volume jumps? Curious if this is the classical too much processing and it sounds like shit or helpful. I can't stand how muhc louder commercials are right now.

I want a giant burrito filled with shrimp and scallops and lobster with a cheesey white sauce. Some lime flavor too maybe some rice. A little refried on the side maybe. Some amazingly fresh salsa.

Maybe a fresh white fish taco with lime and cilantro on the side..

no clue what that struck my brain..

Levi Johnston's new article in Vanity Fair, in which he dishes all manner of dirt against his almost-mother-in-law Sarah Palin, is a real tour de force of family dysfunction, private dirt, and all-around personal contempt.

Much of the article is dedicated to telling people that the real Sarah Palin is not the wholesome, down-home mother that the public has been told about. According to Johnston, she doesn't pay attention to her kids, didn't work hard as governor, has an unhappy marriage with Todd, and rarely attends church. But perhaps the cruelest cut of all for this Republican superstar...she doesn't hunt and fish, either:

People think that Sarah likes hunting, fishing, and camping, but she doesn't. She says she goes hunting and lives off animal meat -- I've never seen it. I've never seen her touch a fishing pole. She had a gun in her bedroom and one day she asked me to show her how to shoot it. I asked her what kind of gun it was, and she said she didn't know, because it was in a box under her bed.

Johnston also says that Palin's own family would laugh at her disastrous interviews on TV -- and even Palin herself privately knew she did a horrible job:

We all knew that she didn't know what to say on TV, and that when she was reading a script she was a phony. I'd be sitting with the family in front of the TV and we'd be disgusted watching her. Her family never said anything terrible, but they shook their heads with disappointment. And there were times where we'd sit there and pretty much laugh at things she said. I laughed every time I saw Tina Fey imitate her. She sounded just like her. I think the kids thought it was funny, too. There were also times when Sarah would be at home and watch herself on the screen and say she did very bad.

Johnston also talks about how Palin was embittered by the national campaign defeat, and immediately began talking about resigning the governorship so she could make more money. But what really got her going, he says, is when she heard about McCain staffers trashing her -- against her own belief that she was the real star of that ticket:

But when she began to hear McCain's people accusing her of being the reason they lost, she decided to retaliate. At home, she would say that she couldn't believe they had backstabbed her. She couldn't believe they were saying she lost the election for McCain. She would say things like "I Brought everything to the table and "The majority people were out there voting because of me!" She definitely thought she was running for president.

And I heard Levi Johnston is wanting a reality show, perhaps something like the bachelor with 40 women vying for his partnership. Come on. Who would want to date that high school dropout with a kid and all the drama around?

3 tower pc's in the house, buisness class printer, few lappy toppys that i woulf love to have hard line capable just in case wireless porn surfing isn't as quick as I need when the mood strikes, and i dont feel like making the long walk down the stairs....
