i got a question hoping for a fast responce.

i just got my pioneer back from repair, and on the RED wire for the power input there is a black barrel inside is a resistor... im guessing it it blow because i have power going into it.. but none coming out of it....

where can i get a replacement fast and what it is for?

it is blue and it has color codes bans on it....

do you think radio shake has them!>

its a 4 ban, and radio shack only have 5 bans.... i donno what to do

ok well igot drunk lastnight and got to tooling, i put a 1k resistor on it.. it still did not work... i got pissed off and quit...

mike (95honda) called me from over seas to help me in this matter......

he remembered running the pionners with out them as i did....

so he gave me shit tons of advice,

i did as he said.. and were smooth sailing now....

as stated above...

he recalled running prioneers after cuttin the resistor off....

he said that i should put an inline fuse onit about a half amp or so...

i grounded the case, and it worked...:D

nah im a pretty good at holding my shit down....

the reason it was not working that night is only because it was a 1K resistor, at 1k hardly any voltage would make it to the other side... not even enough to dim a test light.

the next day i found out my sorce for the reistor value was WRONG!... fuckin CA.
