New products for 2009

Recommended Posts

Hi guyz,

Went to the US Amps website and those appear to be new products.

Anyone care to explain what those are? Specs appreciated ;)

XTV2

VLX (supposed to be an OS amp, maybe coming back with upgrades...)

Thanks,

Kelvin

Ok, so the XT line now is under the RE label? Or is RE now the overall name for both companies? :???:

Greg can issue a more definite answer on this.

IMO it might be more on labeling but you got to admit they are nice looking amps ;)

i checked the internals and its a bit beefier than the old XT amps.

They need to correct the model numbering in reference to the actual power output.

All of the New products are going to be branded as "RE Audio a division of US Amps". The XT2 series produces 15-20% more real world power. Also all new XT2 products will have a transitor muting circuit where as the original XT's did not have any muting. I will post complete pictures and Info later this week if I can.

The VLX series is something all new The old VLX was a tone control the New VLX is Very Loud Xperiment.... Full range class D with a twist. More eff. than 90% of the class d amps on the market.
