3000 might be pushin it.i've heard of them takin 1200 a piece, but 1500 might be a little much. just don't crank the gain and you should be fine.

what kind/size enclosure?

You'll definitely want to be VERY CAREFUL with that amount of power.

Keep the gains low and don't crank it full tilt for hours on end.

If you're a responsible listener though, you shouldn't have any problems.

I say get the 1000, they are spec'ing out at about 1500 watts anyway, so the subs would get 750ish a piece and you would not spend anywhere near as much money or need as much current

Get a lower powered amp in that series, you don't need that big iron...

750w per driver is fine.

If he already has it though he might as well use it. Just use the gain setting formula and set that thing for 1800w or less and you will be fine. There is no point in getting a new amp when the one you have will work fine.
