HU: Eclipse 8053

Fronts: Memphis Sync8's (not in yet)

Front Amps: (2) Coustic Amp-505DR (unless I go active, then it'll be (2) Coustic Amp-510DR)

Sub: Undecided

Sub Amp: Soundstream Rubicon 702

And these will be included if I don't run the internal eq/xovers on the deck and decide to use external units:

EQ: PG EQ230

Xover: Coustic DR DX28

Or I may switch those out, use the deck's internal xover and use something like the Audiocontrol DQS for equalization. I dunno yet....

Pretty simple, yet should sound superb when finished (if ever finished.......)

Dave make you do that? :P

LOL....No. He was the one that mentioned them to me when I was debating on what frontstage to go with. And he helped me find a good deal on them.

But I absolutely loved the sound of his. And the 8's are supposed to have fantabulous low end output and extension....which is what I wanted. So I thought what the hell, I'll give them a shot.

For the price I paid, even if I don't like them I could turn around and sell them without losing any money.

Although now I'm debating on picking up a PG Xenon 200.4. 200w x 4 @ 1-4ohm for $339+shipping is a tempting deal on SD.

squeak, did you see the price on the KX 650.4 on SD?

Yeah....that's a hell of an amp for the money.

But not quite as powerful as I'm looking for. I want a good ~200w per side if possible for the fronts, then bridge the rears to a sub (if I did switch to a 4-channel)

talk to shane about the 8004, I have not birthed mine, but I would venture to say it is somewhat under ratted, great features

You running those Crossfire horns?

What do you think of those? I haven't heard much about them.

well they do get ungodly loud, like to the point where it hurts and you have to get out of the truck. I did have them hooked up for a while and they weren't even properly mounted under the dash they were just on the floor. They do need EQing though, I'm not gonna say how much b/c I've never heard a properly EQ'd setup I just know they could sound better. I'll give my full review on the horns and other items once I get the EQT's to match with the 4xs =p, and once I get my hands on an RTA. lol

God I can't wait to install all this, I'm so close to being finished with buying everything, just need the amps, alt, and some serious sound dampening. :P moneys tight though, that's why this process has taken me so long.
