I'm looking at the DLS RA 10 and RA20 to power my IDQ12v3D4 and CXS62 6.5" comps.

How do the 125.2 and 1000D compare to the DLS in terms of clean power and features?

Thanks

The DLS seems like solid products, I'm looking into their speakers. I'd go with the DLS just from the fact that not too many people have them.

can't say it any better

in terms of SQ the DLS A amps are awesome (had an A6 myself)

but i also love my sundown amps

you just can't compare them, both are great products, but it's like comparing apples and oranges

I just love the way you phrase that... Telling a lot but not telling much to the owner of this thread :P

I have DLS amps (Ultimate A2 and A4) - sound is solid, bass is punchy, highs are up there... Couldn't be happier.

Noise floor is pretty low, A2 hooked up to some ID horns (107dB efficient) = no noise @ all.

Cannot comment on the Sundown, but some competitors are having great results with Sundown @ SQ comps.

Cannot go wrong with either brand,

Just get the one that gives you what you need: xover, setting wise.

Hope that helps,

Kelvin

PS: pretty sure both can be had for about the same price...

PS2: RA10 is an A/B class while the Sundown is D. Just a thought

The 125.2 is a Class A/B

only the Sundown Mono Amps are Class D

I did some measurements and looks like the two amps will not fit.

The pic is just a mock up for size and shape (the sub will be the other way and the amp is just there to see how everything will look). I'll add a fuse holder below the amp for show.

I'm looking at the 3 channel DLS amp (100 x 2 and 500 x 1).

Also asked how the SAX100.4 will putout in 3 channel form.

Biggy - If you were to buy an amp for another car would you go DLS or Sundown?

I have been using an all digital Alpine PDX-4.100 to power my highs, it has a very small frame so it can fit in a lot of places, I got it on Ebay for about $290 shipped. It sounds really good and was birthed at 126 watts rms at 14.4v
