8th order bandpass

has anyone here tried to build an 8th order bandpass. i ask because i have had decent succeswith the 4th and 6th orders but now im thinking of trying a 8th order just for spl and was wondering if anyone had any experience building one

I've had success with 4th and 6th order. The only time I tried an 8th order it was a train wreck and I realized it has to be PERFECT and will not always output the way it models on a program to the degree most other enclosures do. When I have something to play with again equipment wise I'm going to give it another shot because the design looks like it has potential.

I've built one 8th order.... a whole lot of effort and very little payout---in my test/opinion... sounded ok at low volumes but didn't yeild much output...

***I could have done something wrong... I've never tried again, 4th and 6th order are much easier to dial in.
