Recommended Posts

What would the best wiring kit for the SAE 1200D be? 4 guage? 0 guage? Also is the knukonceptz wiring any good? there prices are pretty cheap

4 gauge would be sufficient but 1/0 would be better.

I would recommend 1/0 gauge as well.

KnuKonceptz has some very good products. I would stay away from the "KLMX" Kable as that is aluminum clad copper. The "Fleks" Kable is comparable to Stinger HPM and Kicker Hyper Flex!

Since the amp has 1/0 terminals I'd go ahead and go that route. Especially if you're looking for the full potential of the amp.

1/0 is what i used for my 1200d and i was very pleased with the performance!

They have the Fleks cable available. Either by the foot or as an "amp kit". If you really just don't want to spend the money on the Fleks the KLM will work.

alright im about to order Kolossus Flex 0 gauge Power kit from knukonceptz for my SAE 1200D but i dont know which fuse type to get... i can get 60A, 80A, 100A, 120A, 150A, 200A, 250A, 300A... which one would be best for the SAE 1200D?

Fusing is based on the wire, not the amp.

I'd get a 150-200A fuse.

Would it hurt if you had a 300A fuse?

That's just fine for 1/0
