What is charging voltage for the D1000

Recommended Posts

I have an option to use a step up converter to run at 18.5v. I can't set it any higher or i risk damaging my amps as they are only rated up to 18.5v.

Is 18.5v high enough to charge a D1000? If it's not, what is the recommended voltage and how good would 18,.5v be before i would have to top it off myself with a charger? once a week maybe?

18.5V will charge the bank, but I would recommend also using a good battery charger to charge them occasionally to keep them in good health. Ideal charge voltage is 19.2V @ 15A per D1000 battery.

and i am assuming the 12v\16v charger is perfect for that... i need to buy one if i decide to up my voltage.

Or you could use the more economical 16V only charger. It's only $199... the 12/16V is $299.
